Ralf Holleis’ 3D printed track bike takes a straight tube of carbon Fibre, and jams it into a titanium lug. The result is visually stunning. The potential applications are even more so. As Hollies states on his website, after you determine the riders anatomical measurements, you can use software to configure the geometry and the sizing of the bike. Also when using steel, the tubes don’t need to be butted as there is no welding involved.
