    The chance she was a hero seemed slimmer and slimmer by the second.      “Heroes typically protect people, fight for justice and prevent death and destrution.” He replied. “I’m not sure we have the same definitions though, but who knows?”

          “There are some similarities in our definitions– If you can call them that. I protect people – CHILDREN – from horrific parents, which also could count as fighting for their justice, but sadly our definitions diverge at the whole  d e a t h  thing.” The best way to save those children from their terrible parents was to get rid of said parents: By killing them. Some would call that being villainous, but Black Bird didn’t see what the big deal was. They were only getting what they deserved.

//okay so theres several people coal knows but theres a few people who he talks a lot to like amber, who is his robot android alien AI friend i think?? i have no idea what she is but shes got an AI which is a huge part of her character. shes one of his friends and his teammate and they get p close after a while. then theres the guy who made his prosthetics. hes blonde and hes got frizzy hair and he likes to make puns and jokes and mess with people but hes super smart and hes very skilled at mechanics and math and technical stuff. he manages coals prosthetics and occasionally upgrades and fixes them and hes the sole reason coal almost burned his school down by accident when he got the prosthetics

   “Those are socks?” He couldn’t not burst out laughing. “What happened to them? Oh man, your feet must be freezing.”     What’s the point of socks if they’re missing parts? Why didn’t they just buy new ones? They sure had some nerve though. First asking him about his arms, then insulting him. Didn’t they have manners where he grew up? Maybe their parents didn’t teach them any, or they just didn’t care. Those seemed like good reasons for why his socks had holes too, actually..     “I’ll have you know, my feet aren’t disgusting at all. I frequently take showers and I change my socks when they’re dirty. Your feet must’ve been really dirty to have eroded away the toes and heels like that though.”

 OH, he just had to go there─ to make comments on things so carefully chosen. How dare he─ who did this brat think he was!? Envy’s grin turned wry, though not without traces of humor. It was always rather amusing when humans shot back retorts like that. How cute, he thought─ this kid had no idea who he was messing with.
