Character #011
Stereotypical meme bard but they're adventuring solely to get enough money to pay a fuck ton of child support
This character could be a PC or NPC
If this character is an NPC it would be really funny if at least one of the players was a person seeking child support from the bard

Character #010
Combine Disney princess tropes and distill them into a druid
This character must have like all the princess tropes. Particularly the early princess ie. Snow Whit, Cinderella, and Aurora. These tropes are basically kind (probably to a fault), can aquire any and all animals as companions, and maybe is a little bit ditzy
There are other princess personality traits, especially the princesses from the late 80s and 90s, that could also be fun to throw in there. These traits are spontaneity, stubbornness, and whimsical. Think Ariel and Jasmine
This character would work best as a pc

Character #009
A NPC turned PC
This character should be a bit older than the average adventurer (I like to say early-mid 40s as that is old enough to have adult children but young enough to be relatively spry)
This character was an npc but now that their children are grown they have a bit of empty nest syndrome
To combat this their spouse (who is preferably a retired adventurer) has encouraged the character to go on their own adventure
This character works the best as a pc. Their spouse could also be a pc or npc. If the spouse is a npc there is the option to either go with the character on the adventure or be something to look forward to when the character goes home

Character #008
The folks at the abracopathocary
Technically two again, but potentially could be one for comedy purposes
This shop, the abracopathocary, is part magical item store part apothecary, therefore;
It can be run by two people, in which case the dynamic between these two characters is important. Some examples of dynamics that could shine here are: siblings (competive/cooperative), married couple, or best friends
Or it can be run by one person in which case this character should exemplify the word 'zany' -- they can run two stores for the extra income, or because they flip back and forth between liking them, or because they multi-classed when they were an adventurer(wizard/cleric probably) and now want to utilize their skills. Alternatively it can be one person that acts differently depending on which store their running. These are just some examples, the important part is to get creative with why this character might run a two sided store
This character most likely will not work as a pc and therefore should be used as an npc (I say most likely because I don't know you, maybe you play a ttrpg where all the players are competing shoppe owners, idk)

Character #007
Wholesome rogue
This character secretly gives gifts to people (either in passing or planned out...maybe even both)
This character should be EXTREMELY dexterous for maximum sneaky gift giving
This character would work as a pc or npc.
If an npc this would make for a fun Christmas one-off as a Santa-esc character or a reoccurring secret admirer of the party

Character #006
A warlock who CANNOT take credit for any fighting they do as a part of their contract
Essentially some kind of other worldly patron (probably fey or fiend) thought it would be fun to give a mortal powers on the condition that they absolutely cannot take credit for what they do and see how long it takes until the poor mortal goes insane
If the character tries to take credit for something they do pertaining to one of their warlock abilities then something intervenes. Whether it is magical or coincidental is up to the dm's wildest imagination
For maximum comedic effect the party should also be completely unable to give or recognize credit to the warlock. Potentially even to the point that they always forget/never see the warlock's magical abilities
This character works better as a pc with a lot of cooperation from the dm

Character #005
Adventuring salesman
This character acquires all kinds of magical items and sells them
This character should be EXTREMELY charismatic
This character can be any class but works best as a rogue and/or bard
This character could work as either a pc or npc. If used as a npc the character should be reoccurring for maximum comedic affect

Character #004
A Kenku wizard and their barbarian friend
I am aware that this is technically 2....they just are better as a pair trust me on this one
The barbarian can be any race but one of the larger ones is preferable
If you are unaware, kenku are cursed to only mimic the sounds around them therefore a wizard kenku couldn't use verbal spells unless they heard someone else do them, that's where their barbarian friend comes into the picture
The barbarian reads the spell books to the kenku like a bedtime story
These could work as pcs or npcs. It might be easier to use them as npcs though because then you don't have to collaborate with somebody....though it would be a super cool player dynamic
Bonus if you name them Click and Whistle

Character #003
A himbo paladin
I feel like this one is pretty self explanatory
Works really well if the character worships a female presenting deity
Is handsome
Is strong
Is dumb
Respects women (and everyone else too let's be honest)
This character is better with a monosyllabic name
Works better as a pc but could potentially be a fun npc

Character #002
A fighter on a quest out of spite
This character is learning to be a better fighter for someone they....hate. As opposed to fighting for someone they love
If chosen for the satire it's better if the character has a very trivial rival. Or better yet, the person they're fighting for doesn't even know it's a competition and thinks that they're good friends with the character
Alternatively this character could be a serious one and they have a very valid reason for hating the person (think Inigo Montoya from princess bride)
This character could work easily as a pc or npc

Character #001
A human wizard going through a midlife crisis
This character starts out as a wizard (that being their latest hobby) but eventually multiclasses into just about every other class
They have a family somewhere. Whether that family is supportive of the character's new adventuring life style is up to the player and dm
The reason this character is a human is because of humans' comparably short lifespans. A half-orc would also work, but a human just makes it that much more fun
This character could easily work as a pc or npc
