               THE SHADOWS CLUNG to him, dripping off of him and crawling back onto him in a continuous abyss. Ever since that moment he had stepped into the chamber in the deep north, he had changed. — He was still himself, but there was more. Other. Like the shadows sticking to him. He was no longer only dark fire. 

He could not define what truly had changed, since he had never had any true definition. His edges were now much clearer than they ever had been, ever since the name Chernabog had been whispered into his ear and seared onto the very fabric that made him up. He was changed. 

               THE EDGES OF the underworld, still untamed and unfettered where he had taken his residence, allowing Hades to bridle and tame all over corners, were as familiar as ever when he entered, including the ever-familiar interloper who had for ages innumerable made himself welcome.

The god of death stopped in the gateway to his corner of the domain, looking at Hermes with thinly-veiled impatience. The impatience — which would have been long-suffering once — lashed out in a heart beat of pure, dark fire, crawling up the walls of the cavern before pulling back toward him, desperate for his presence.

OUT. 🔥 Thanatos as Thanatos as chaotic but still decidedly neutral, and it isn’t until he has the influence of Chernabog that really turns him into a far crueler character. But Thanatos? Mostly liked things that were messy and irritating the two ( two ) people he could stand to be around for extended periods of time.

OUT. 🔥 Hades, Hermes, and Than’s relationship apparently can be summed up with if they’re not roasting each other, something’s wrong.
