Sleeping was a challenge for you. Plenty of tossing and turning, changing the volume of the TV, or turning it off completely, turning the fan off and on...everything you could think of doing never helped. Since going to sleep was so hard, you rarely remembered any dreams that your brain made up for you. If you did remember anything, it was only a small tidbit that you easily forgot by the time your feet touched the floor to get to the bathroom. 

Giving up, you took your phone from under your pillow and opened V Live. Scrolling across the top of the app, you found Stray Kids. Wasting no time, you found the most recent Channie’s room. Seeing the young man with his black beanie and long sleeve shirt immediately brought you comfort. A soft smile spread across your face as you heard the intro song start playing. Chan fiddled with his beanie before scooting closer to the desk and crossing his arms. 

You felt your eyes getting heavier as you listened to him talk. Not that anything that he was saying was boring, he brought you to another state of comfort. 

You saw Chan in an ice cream shop. His hair was curly and fluffy. Seeing him in casual wear was oddly attractive. You were frozen in your spot, staring at the boy. You noticed some fangirls come up and introduce themselves to him and Chan’s face lit up with excitement. He gave them hugs but politely declined their offer to take selfies with him. A feeling of jealously washed over you causing you to cross your arms and glare. 

You gathered the courage to go up and talk to him. “Excuse me,” you gently tap his shoulder. When his face met yours, his smile grew even bigger. “Um...I love you…” Chan laughed at your boldness and tugged at his ear lobes. 

“What a way to start a conversation.” He giggled. “Are you a stay?”

You mentally facepalmed before nodding, trying to hide your embarrassment. “I am.” You rubbed your arm and started getting shy, the more eye contact he made with you.

When you tried turning your gaze to the ground, Chan moved his head to keep him in your sights, a playful smile never leaving his face. Your face grew red seeing him so close to you. 

The moment he opens his mouth to speak to you again, the picture fades out like an old TV turning off. Your alarm bringing your mind and body back to reality left a bitter taste in your mouth. 

“No, no, no, no, no.” You shut off your alarm and turned over, throwing a pillow over your head.

Whining as sleep ran away from you, you dramatically threw the covers off of you. “I really didn’t want to wake up…” You mumbled to yourself.

You stared at your lock screen and gently hovered your thumb over the cheek of the boy in the picture, just wanting to imagine his skin on yours. Chan’s frozen smile gleamed up at you before the screen went dark. 

“We’ll meet again in my dreams…”

Yk stress and tiredness can easily be mistaken for no motivation. maybe you are stressed and/or tired.

maybe ! i think it’s a combination of a lot of things. i go to write something bc i feel inspired and then i just blank. i feel bad for being gone for so long but i just can’t do it ):

I heard that drinking tea and sometimes listening to music can help, not necessarily motivation but it can help with focus if that's what you need.
