Paintless Dent Repair
I've worked in the dent repair industry for five years and I started my own company in 2022, and we quickly grew to several hundred thousand. I have taken everything I know about the industry, and everything I learned over the last five years, and created an online training program.
Five years ago I had no idea what the future would hold, but here I am today making my dreams a reality. I've worked really hard and sacrificed a lot for the opportunity.
We cover customers' deductibles up to one thousand dollars and also provide a free rental vehicle.

Bringing in your car for the initial estimate
We wash and dry each vehicle, then bring it inside the shop to examine it under PDR lights. Every dent is identified and circled using a special wax crayon. Our photos and dent count are much more accurate than the ones you will get from an insurance field adjuster. Some dents are only visible when the light hits them at a certain angle.
Most of the time when the insurance company gives you an estimate they don’t circle the damage or use PDR lights. So when people do their photo estimates at home with a dirty car, or in the sunlight, the estimate comes back very low and missing tons of dents.
We do the photos for you. The insurance company will give you a low initial settlement if you do your own photos.

Understanding the auto insurance claim process
Insurance companies save money when they delay the process. They play games unfair to policyholders. We help to expedite the process by calling your insurance company daily. We fight for you to get the best possible repairs.
Virtual estimates, photos/video calls. The insurance adjuster comes to your house.
Insurance will issue a low initial settlement, requiring a supplement later from the body shop. They will delay the settlement, sometimes claiming they cannot come to look at the vehicle for weeks, cannot see the damage properly, and impossible to make an accurate count.
Taking your vehicle to the insurance-recommended body shop for an estimate.
The body shop will give you a Non-PDR estimate, and they will write to replace parts that do not need replacing. Your insurance adjuster still needs to look at your vehicle and make their own estimate, so the estimate you get just wastes your time.
How Aaron's Hail Repair expedites customers' claims and repairs.
We call your insurance company every day to move the process forward. We take photos of every dent on your vehicle and provide them to your insurance adjuster so they can approve your repairs.  Some insurance companies approve claims faster because they do not outsource the appraisal to any estimating company. We cannot start any repairs until your insurance authorizes payment. With some insurance companies, payment is issued in 1-2 days, while others can take a week.

Every customer gets amazing customer service and the highest quality repairs. Whatever it takes to make you 100% satisfied.

Dent Repair Process
Tumblr media
How does paintless dent repair (PDR) work?
Paintless Dent Repair or PDR is preferred by customers because it saves your nice factory paint job.
Paintless Dent Repair is preferred by customers because the dents are pushed out by hand and there isn't any need for paint, chemicals, or cutting the roof off the car.
The headliners and components of all modern vehicles are designed to be removed and installed (called R&I). Dropping the headliner gives the dent tech "access" to the metal of the roof to push the dents out using metal hand tools.
The dent tech carefully reshapes the metal while looking at lights or line-board to restore the appearance of the metal. They will "push" the metal using hand tools on big flat panels with access. But other panels like the rails of the car, or areas where there isn't tool access, require techniques like glue-pulling" or "blending".
When repair is finished, the original factory paint is preserved and the vehicle's full resale/trade-in value is restored.

After dropping off your vehicle
The shop washes the car and prepares it for the adjuster.
Circling all the damage on the vehicle with special automotive dry erase markers under PDR lights.
On average, it takes the insurance company three days to approve hail damage repairs.
The insurance company's initial estimate is often low. A follow-up inspection (called a supplement) is usually necessary.
Dent repairs take 1-2 days of manual work.
The vehicle is cleaned and vacuumed before being returned to the customer.

The process of getting your vehicle fixed File a claim if you haven't already, you will need to file a claim for hail damage. The easiest way to do it is on your mobile phone, using your insurance company's application.
Fill out forms When you make an appointment you will receive a link to our paperwork that you can fill out online.
Tumblr media
Using your claim number and vehicle information, filling out this paperwork authorizes us to reach out to your insurance and get the ball rolling.
Do you need to pay anything?
When your insurance company sends you to their recommended shop, you pay your deductible, and that goes straight into the corporation's pockets as profit.
You already pay your insurance premiums and can't control the weather.
So why should you have to pay more for something that isn't even your fault?
When you come to us, we just agree to fix your vehicle for whatever the insurance pays, and waive your deductible (up to $500). We absorb these expenses to earn your business.
Do I have to use the insurance company’s repair shop?
No; by law, you have the right to choose the repair shop of your choice.
Sometimes insurance companies will tell you that they have to look at your vehicle before you drop it off for repairs. This is NOT required and you can bring your vehicle to us tomorrow. We take over the claim and work with your insurance to get your repairs expedited faster than you could deal with on your own.

Things that you need to know in Paintless Dent Repair
Tumblr media
In the factory, automotive paint and finishes are designed to withstand sun exposure and weather. However, factory paint does not adhere the same to metal and will wear down quickly. This makes the vehicle look bad and lowers its resale or trade-in value.
Tumblr media
Here are some examples of "fill & paint" repairs a few years down the road.
You can see that the repair work is not holding up well and is starting to crack and peel. The repaired area is also much darker than the surrounding area, making it very obvious where the repair work was done.
Paintless dent repair is a superior repair method because it preserves the factory finish.
Insurance adjusters don't always know what can be fixed with PDR and what can't, so it's best to have the vehicle in the shop when they come to look at it.
Comprehensive insurance covers things that aren't your fault like vandalism or severe weather.
Comprehensive is different coverage than collision, which pays for accidents caused by you. Insurance companies can't discriminate against people by raising rates due to acts of nature.
Your insurance protects you from hail damage, and you are entitled to use the shop of your choice. There are no repercussions for filing comprehensive claims.
Hail damage significantly lowers your vehicle's Kelly Blue Book (KBB) resale or trade-in value. Even just a few very light dents can devalue your vehicle by several thousand dollars. If you are still making payments, your vehicle may be worth less than what you owe on it. Get it fixed for free.
PDR at corporate collision centers is subcontracted to the lowest bidder, and not up to the highest standard of quality.
A flood of hail-damaged vehicles creates chaos in normal auto body shops, as they are not specialized in hail repairs. This can lead to a decline in quality and service and long wait times for appointments. Subcontractors are rushing to finish cars so they can make money off of the repairs.
If you have unclaimed hail damage and get in a wreck, your insurance company may try to total your vehicle. However, if you file a claim, your insurance company is obligated to repair the hail damage. Gap insurance will not always cover the entire cost of repairs. It is smart to file a claim so that you are not stuck with paying out of pocket for something that was already covered under your policy.
