Just thinking about Regulus coming out to Sirius.

Reg shyly walks over to to the griffindor table and taps his brother on the shoulder. "Oh, you've cut your hair, mums gonna kill ya" Sirius says, smiling a bit. "I need to talk to you" Regulus quietly tells him, his voice almost a whisper. "Yeah, ok, um I'll see you guys later" Sirius directs that last part to his friends, who all mumble agreement before going back to their conversations.

When they make it outside of the great hall, Sirius gently grabs Regulus' arm, "what is is [nickname of deadname]"

"I'd prefer it if you didnt call me that"

"What? [Nickname of Deadname], your my baby sister, I can call you whatever I want"

"I'm not your baby sister"

"You'll always be my baby sist-" Sirius doesnt finish

"IM NOT YOUR FUCKING SISTER!" Regulus says it louder than intended, and quickly looks down, like his shoes were the most interesting in the world. "What..?" Sirius sounds different, quieter.

Regulus is silent for a moment "hey, it's alright, you can tell me anything".

"I..I'm um. I think I'm transgender" Regulus mutters, still not looking at his brother. "Alright, that's fine, that's good. What are your pronouns, and your name?" Sirius smiles at his brother, waiting for a response.

"Well, I did some experimenting, and I prefer to use he/him, but I dont know about a name, I'm thinking 'something Arcturus Black' but I dont know about a first name." Regulus responds, meeting his brothers eyes and letting a small smile break free.

"Ah, sticking with the family tradition then" Sirius chuckles.

They dont talk for a while, but then Sirius breaks the silence. "What about the one star from the leo constellation....what is it. The bright one..you know?"

"Regulus?"

"Yeah! That one, that one suits you. Talking about things that suit you, look at you! The hair! The black nails! The outfit!" Regulus was wearing black baggy ripped jeans, a queen shirt and a black leather jacket, with some oxford style doc martens and his hands covered in rings. He looked good. "Yeah um, Dorcas cut my hair, she's good with that stuff, and um these are Barty's clothes."

Sirius thought they looked big "WAIT, did you tell them?! Before you told me?! How dare you?!?" Sirius practically shrieked, grabbing his brothers shoulders and shaking him a bit. "No, but they probably figured it out"

"Ok, I'll choose to believe you" Sirius and Regulus walk back into the hall, and sit at the table. "Um so this is my brother, Regulus, he just told me that a few minutes ago actually"

"Hi, Regulus" Remus grabbed his boyfriends hand, and smiled at Regulus.

Meanwhile James was staring, mouth slightly agape, Regulus had yawned, and James caught sight of a small silver ball on his tounge. (James wasn't staring at Regulus' lips, of course he wasn't, he just looked and saw it, totally, yeah)
