Green Boots was the name given to the unidentified corpse of a climber that became a landmark on the main Northeast ridge route of Mount Everest. The term Green Boots originates from the green mountaineering boots the body still wears. All expeditions from the north side encounter the body curled in the limestone alcove cave at 8,500 m (27,900 ft). 

The first recorded video footage of Green Boots was filmed on 21 May 2001 by French climber Pierre Paperon. In the video, Green Boots is shown lying on his right side, facing away from the summit.  In later years, the body could be seen lying on its left side, facing the direction of the summit. However, since 2014, the body has been missing.

THE MYSTERIOUS CLOAKED FIGURE OF GASTONIA

Residents of Gastonia, North Carolina have spotted a mysterious person lurking at the edge of a local woods outside of an apartment complex, wearing a full-length, hooded black cloak and making strange shapes with his or her hands.

The figure has been linked to other recent, strange events near the building, and has been accused of “dropping raw meat near a playground in the apartment complex.”

Daniela Poggiali is an Italian nurse who is accused of killing 38 of her patients in a three-month period and afterward asking colleagues to take seemingly joyful photos of her alongside patients who had just died. She was arrested on October 9, 2014, after an autopsy on one of her victims revealed a dangerous amount of potassium in her system. Daniela reportedly injected potassium into patients whom she found to be ‘’annoying’’. Daniela denies the murders and insists she’s being framed.

Budd Dwyer was a politician from Pennsylvania. In 1996 he was convicted of accepting a $300 000 bribe. He appeared live on television the day before he was to be sentenced where he professed his innocence. After his speech, he pulled a revolver from an envelope, and advised the crowd, ‘’Please, please leave the room if this will…if this will affect you.’’

Much effort was made to persuade Dwyer into reconsidering, but it was all a waste in the end–Dwyer turned the gun on himself and pulled the trigger.
