“I see. Perhaps…I wouldn’t mind you…Teaching me the types of tea you have and each property of them…?” It was a nice suggestion and perhaps he could have others try as well.

Blaster Blade felt calm and at ease just talking to Amaterasu, a different side of him that others rarely saw.

“I would love to!” She suddenly sits up straight and exclaims excitedly. Seems like she’s extremely enthusiastic when it came to tea. 

“Well you know that Chamomile tea is good when it comes to relaxing and calming down your body. Black tea is the best for keeping you awake for all-nighters, and it’s said Lavender tea can help with both breathing problems and wounds.” There she goes.

“Ah, I apologize for my rambling...”

“The infirmary…” He did recall that he fought Amaterasu out of his own stubbornness. It was stupid to do so in the first place. He especially forgot that Amaterasu had access to Stride as well.

“I’m…Feeling alright I guess. It wasn’t a good idea to challenge you in that as I had forgotten you could call upon Stride. …It is? I didn’t really take that into account…” He took a sip of the tea Amaterasu had made. It was…Soothing.

“Your tea is also calming, Amaterasu…”

“Well, it was kind of foolish. But yes, it’s one way. Though it’s best to have a sparring partner for that.” Her sparring partner (read: sandbag) was probably Nightstorm, not that the guy knew, though.

She picks up her cup, blowing the steam away before taking a sip. Chamomile tea was a blessing after a long day, especially after using Stride. 

“I’m glad you like it. It has calming properties, so it’s my favorite one.” If you went though her cabinets, you can see she has quite a stock full of them.

The mage was startled by the voice. He hesitated some seconds before answering to the goddess, as he didn’t know much about his target. He only knew the name and that he had to go to Dragon Empire for defeating him.

“As far as Luquier told to me, he’s the leader of the Shiranui clan and he’s part of the Dragon Empire espionage corp. I’m searching for him as I have a vendetta against this bastard.” The elf was blunt, not caring much if the other Unit may find him rude.

“Shiranui clan from Dragon Empire’s espionage corp...” She mutters to herself as she holds her chin in thought. “I’ve definitely heard of this somewhere...” she mutters to herself.

“A vendetta...?” she hesitates for a moment before continuing. “I'm sorry to hear that. But is it really a wise choice to go alone?”

It must have been a few moments or possibly hours before the paladin had come to his senses. He groans before looking to the side to see Amaterasu.

“Where…Am I…Amaterasu…?”

“The Sanctuary’s infirmary.” she replies nonchalantly as she finishes the tea and brings it over with a tray. She leaves it down on the bedside table before sitting down on the chair that she moved towards the side of the bed.

“How are you feeling? Releasing pent-up energy is also a way to relax, you know?”

Amaterasu was too powerful. Her Stride form was stronger than he anticipated. There was no way to defeat her or even attempt to knock her out. After using much of his strength against her, he passed out.

The stride unit vanishes as she walks over to his unconscious form. She stops when she’s right beside him and lets out a little sigh. She grabs Blaster Blade’s collar with surprising strength and starts to drag him over to the Sanctuary’s infirmary.

She reaches it easily and gently puts Blaster Blade onto an unoccupied bed. Walking over to the side, she hums a tune as she brews her favorite chamomile tea.

He materializes and holds the EXD Blaster defensively. “You really want to try?”

She looks at the sword for a good second. “Suit yourself.”

With a large pillar of light, out came the one of the many futures versions of Amaterasu. Stood beside her was ‘Chief Deity of the Heavens, Amaterasu.’ Floating in the stride unit’s hand was the Yata no Kagami, that leaked a strong light blue aura.
