I don’t fully believe in incarceration as a form of harm reduction or reconciliation or punishment. I’m with Angela Davis in my feeling that prisons are obsolete. At the same time, breaking down someone’s door and shooting them while they sleep is a crime. There’s no arguing that. I repeat, there is no arguing that!
