Being a captain in the republic can also rarely be fun with his brothers.

Janeway is a force of nature. Beneath that uniform is a feral woman threatening to break free at the slightest provocation. She's emotional; she feels her feelings deeply, even if she doesn't show them. She gets angry, frustrated, remorseful, and does her best to keep it under control. Not exactly winning qualities in a Starfleet captain by normal standards.

But. She feels deeply in positive ways, too. She gets excited, curious, determined, passionate. She leads with her heart as much as her head and cares deeply for for what she believes in. Even the crew - especially the crew. Even if she doesn't always agree with them, she cares about each of them on a personal level. She's probably had conversations with all of them individually, at some point or another. She lets them ramble on about their hobbies or passions, because she's just so curious about everything. And the crew feels seen and heard because of it.

That's why they're so loyal. No captain should be as close to their crew as she is with hers, but nothing about their trip is normal. It's comforting. It's necessary. It's probably not ideal, but neither is their situation, so who cares?

The crew only wish that Janeway understood better that they care as much about her as she does them. God help the aliens that kidnap this woman, because no force in the cosmos will keep the Voyager crew from rescuing her.

One of my favorite little things in Star Wars is when lightsabers are symbolic. Like Kanan’s being able to separate to show how he had to hide both from the empire and himself, Ezra’s first one showing how the Jedi have had to adapt to changing times, or Cal’s being broken to further hit home his trauma. Wish they’d do that more often.

RAFFI MUSIKER / SEVEN OF IF NINE -

ST: PIC - S03E10

I wanted to show my disappointment in Picard season 3. Regarding my favourite ship, which is sevenxraffi or saffi. Until the last second I was hoping to get a good interaction, some making up or just talking about what happened or even Hand holding idk apparently I was expecting way to much:) it’s so sad that a canon ship like this gets good scenes in one season and gets almost forgot about in the next without explaining anything. I’ve never seen such thing happening with to a canon ship. I’m just disappointed that the only thing we got SPOILER FOR THE LAST EPISODE is that they are Capitan and commander for one spaceship now, which is amazing but I just wanted a tad bit more before that you know any signs more then raffi being ready to give everything for seven when mr. Sir Capitan died. It just a conversation after that, or just seven telling raffi how much that meant to her, you know raffi being there. I’ll take what I get but I’m still sad and disappointed:/
