PT. 2
Weights make sure it stays straight. It can be litteral weights like here

Or it can be more books or sand bags. If you're gluing something bigger keep in mind weight distribution btw.
When gluing add spare papers underneath and above the page where you were gluing
Gluing regular paper on another thin paper into a scrap book/notebook can be tricky so to prevent wrinkling on multiple pages separately it all by plastic

I used a big plastic sleeve folded in half. As you can see I put the plastic sleeve in, then the spare paper. On top of this I put another spare paper and the rest of the plastic sleeve then I closed it and let it sit. For comparison the left is where I used the plastic sleeve and the right it without it, the wringing went if for multiple pages.

Also for anyone wondering if the spare paper doesn't get glued in as well in case there's any leftover glue - I use the backing of a sticker sheet cut into strips which I place on top the glued piece to prevent that.

All glues work the best if you weight the glued part down, plus it prevents cornes which didn't glue down.
Speaking of corners when I'm gluing something small

Like this I use clips as weights but that's a habit from restoration

I'm simply throwing it in, do keep in mind that any clip will leave an imprint on the paper which is why I added cardboard in between
I hope this made sense and I'm here in case of any questions
Also I'm reposting this all over communities so if you saw this more then once, no you didn't.

Alr this one is a longer post but it's basically life hacks for gluing paper better and the science behind it brought to you by a book binding/restoration student
I'll use my scrap book as example

As you can see in the second picture paper goes wrinkly when you glue it and it tend to curls up

Like so. Why ? It has to do with the papers grain. Machine made paper has paper grain going in one direction. Handmade paper doesn't. Both of them expand slightly when water/glue/moisturise is added but it don't go back once dry.
I highlighted the direction of the papers grain with the white arrow, grain direction in basically the opposite of the director in which the paper bends.
How is this important? It holds importance in bookbinding when making book covers. Anything made of paper has it's grain and that includes cardboard which we use for the covers.

This type of cardboard. (Source : DK - Rámovanie)
Paper which we cover it with creates tension and it can curl the cardboard after the book is done which can suck :/
Not sure how important outside of bookbinding But the way to test paper grain on any paper is by cutting a small square with equal sides and putting it on the surface of water and seeing which direction it bends. With cardboard you bend it slightly to see which direction its more difficult to bend in.
How to apply glue the best ?

Set it on top of a paper you don't need and go outwards with the brush this way the glue doesn't go underneath the paper. By holding it in place with your fingers in the middle and brushing all around it you can cover the whole surface with no issues.
When you place it down wherever you wanna glue it

Cover it with another spare paper you don't need and out weight on top of all of this.
Why the extra paper?

It sucks up moisture from the glue that way the glued piece wrinkles up less. However after gluing something down don't leave the spare paper in for long or else the glued piece will bend the same as the spare paper it will fry don't that way. I'm talking leave in it for a minute then switch for a fresh spare paper which you can leave there until it's dry. Most things take about 15 to 20 minutes to fully dry down.
This app doesn't allow more then 10 pictures per post so I'll have to make a PT. 2 :/
PART TWO RIGHT HERE

THIS IS SO AMAZING YES YES YES
The seven rings
Every once a year, once on the seventh,
Rings a bell, on the seventh of a month,
It rings seven times, for seven minutes,
The bell is in the hall, surrounded by vinet.
Each ring is for the seven deadly sin,
Each sin is engraved in the mortals skin,
Even if they are forbidden, they still rule,
Only a saint can win, this one sided dual.
Each ring is for the seven dwarfs of her,
Each dwarf is the abettor for the captivity of her,
Do people really think they are nice ?
What if for trespassing she is paying a price ?
Each ring is for the saven days of week,
Each day is the battlefield for the meek,
The last, and most cherished one is sun,
Even here the love is reserved for the son ?
Each ring is for the seven ding dongs,
Of the broken pendulum, as it longs,
Longing is for to be seen and to be fixed,
But in the normal how can a broken be mixed ?
Each ring is for only 'the' seven planets,
The lores of them, is the enigma in net,
Where did the eighth one go ? Forgotten,
Like the middle child, in the family of rotten.
Every once a year, once on the seventh,
Rings a bell, on the seventh of a month,
It rings seven times, for seven minutes smooth,
Each ring unveil an unsettling truth.
@humanconditionpoetry this is the one I talked about. I just tried and and don't know how it turns out, I mean I don't know if the horror and humour elements are there and balance each other.
