It's been a week since the s2 finale, and I officially miss my dearest, loveliest, unhinged-iest show!

And while I - alas! - cannot write anything new right now for personal reasons, what I CAN DO is post my s1 poems here, teehee~

That being said, behold, Mairon's half of the "dialog".

I have spanned the eons, equal to gods in might:

Through them all I’ve carried eternal undying light.

How at times it branded me to a scorching death!

How at times it lent me the grace of a saving breath!

How at times it shone like a beacon in ghoulish dark!

How it left inside me a blinding and roaring mark!

No, we cannot hide, or escape this, or break the mould -

Our fates forever are clad in a ring of gold.

I have chosen to ravage the land and foster a strife

Where we could have broken the seal of the very life,

Our heads would have been adorned with a single crown…

But alas, one survived the storm, while the other drowned.

I can see you, barefoot, yet shrouded in golden dust,

As I crumble, and slip, and sink, where sink I must.

But descending into the dark, I will still embrace

Soaked in blood, a banner that blazons your starlight face.

The poem is originally written in Russian, but the translation is as close as is possible with poetry (courtesy of my friend Elwing92).
