Hands down: The Quest For Varian is the best S1 episode

The Quest For Varian is the best New Dream and Cassandra episode of the entire show.

This episode has so much going for it! They really feel like a team! Cass and Eugene's banter is epic and all three work together brilliantly to unfold the mystery of the Black Rocks!

The most emotional scene in this episode is no doubt Rapunzel's tears at seeing her childhood home destroyed. Despite it being her prison, it was still a home. Still a place she has fond memories of, despite her childhood being a lie to her.

The Quest For Varian is one of the GREAT episodes of the series.
