I actually was gonna leave it at dumb but actually no, because this is ridiculous. I don’t have internalized racism because I understand that writing different characters from different perspectives means writers often use language they don’t agree with. Like do you not think Matt Ruff wrote racist things from the racist characters in his book?? Did the characters terrorizing Leti not say racist things? Does that make Matt Ruff a racist too? You are stupid and reaching to make your point.

I’m black and seriously wondering if y’all have ever read period pieces before. The entire show/book is named after a racist who wrote racist things. What purpose does it serve to leave the racism out when the character is literally a racist? Racists characters describe things in racist ways.
