Sharing my experience ... a cautionary message. I am trying to stick with a pretty tight budget right now . I attempted to purchase a pair of glasses on glassesusa.com using the split pay program. Within ten minutes of placing my order, they charged my account for the partial payment twice back-to-back, refunded it twice, and then charged the whole amount for the glasses. I sent a screenshot of this to the customer service rep, who told me to call the vision specialists. When I called to find out what was going on, they transferred me to the split-pay company, a third party provider. The split-pay people were very kind and helpful, but had no record of me in their system. They offered to reconnect me with glassesusa.com and stayed on the line to see if they could help. Ultimately, glaasesusa said it must have been a “glitch” in their system and I would have to cancel the order and then reorder, requesting the split-payment option; I declined to do that given the chaos their system had already caused. In the meantime, they reserve the right to take up-to 30-days to refund your money, but said it usually takes 4-7 days - it has been 25-days & they still have not refunded the money. I did get a text message from them a couple days ago though stating they started production of my glasses and I should receive them in 6 business days. 🤦‍♀️. I had to call again - they said to disregard the text; still waiting to see if I get my money back within 30-days.
