I'm not sure that I actually had a brat summer, but living my life by whatever Charli says has always been my thing. One on hand, I love summer and never want it to end. On the other, I'm so ready for comfy sweaters and fires without feeling like I'm boiling.

That's crazy though, in the best way. To just get handed a script that you can't even tell your team about when that's their job. Shows you just how far you've made it that you're getting things directly now, so congratulations on that! Nothing in the works officially right now. I'm always working on music, but my last album just came out back in March so no plans for new music right now. Just focusing on spending time with my girlfriend before I start back with tour in a couple weeks.

Do you know what's weird? When you have to call up your management and tell them you're booked for a project, but can't tell that what that project is. That was me with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Tim slipped me the script while we were working on Wednesday, I pulled over 10 minutes into my journey home and read the entire thing — I guess I have always been a little impatient. My management thought I was loosing it, but look at how well it worked out. I can't wait for the release and to see what people think of Astrid. I think she'll shock a lot of people. How about you? I'm going to say this is all because you've forgotten that I exist and don't hang out with me anymore. It's your karma, buddy. All you needed was some Cari in your life and this could have been avoided.

i got hit by a massive wave of nostalgia last weekend and decided to dig out my ancient gaming console from the depths of my closet. i was all set to relive my glory days, where i was pretty much the king of pixel-worlds, or so my memory insisted. i was ready to jump back into my favorite old-school game, the one i always bragged about dominating back in the day. the theme music started, and man, it was like a high-five from the past. but then, reality check—big time. i couldn’t even get past the tutorial level. seriously, it was like my thumbs had forgotten how to game. i might have yelled at the controller a few times (totally the controller’s fault, right?). after a humbling hour of what i can only describe as ‘epic fail gameplay,’ i had to laugh at myself. was i ever really the gaming wizard i remembered, or has time just painted a way cooler picture in my head? has anyone else revisited an old hobby or skill only to find out you're not quite the expert you remembered? or maybe you've tried to rewatch a favorite movie and realized it hasn't aged well? what’s something you’ve revisited from your past that made you go, 'was it always like this?' / @notoriousstarters

Cari: I'm very much team get rid of the shoey before I have to come back to Australia. We're currently trying to reschedule my tour dates for there, so I need it gone first. It really is! My brother used to be that way with sports, he'd refuse to get a haircut when they were doing good or in a tournament because apparently it's bad luck.

Margot: most of the time they’re all pretty horrible, that’s why it’s so incredible that so many of them stick around. Superstition has staying power I suppose! its kind of fascinating when you think about it isn't it? the things people believe like that?

It definitely makes you feel more refreshed in the morning, but it does suck in most other aspects. Except for napping, being able to take a nap whenever you want is the true gift. We just need to figure out how to do a little sharing is caring type thing, we just need a witch. Do I? That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me, I think.

So jealous. If i had that gift, my nights would run so much smoother. Except the part where you fall asleep in shows. I would definitely like to trade or gift some of this deadly trait. Warning, you will feel immortal. You totally give Sleeping Beauty vibes.

I don't know who allowed it, but someone needs to stop it. Going by way too fast. How'd the final show go? I saw some clips and was freaking out over it for Taylor's stuff. Hell yeah! You'll get the full treatment and can come hang out backstage with me.

Tell me about it - I don't understand how time has gone by so quickly. Who allowed this? Because I'm going to be crying come tomorrow at the show, I swear. I'll come along to your Nashville shows, for sure. I'll just pull my mom into babysitting for me. Can't wait to see you up there and rocking the stage.

I always think you're cute, baby. Kinda comes with the territory of being in a relationship. That's for me to know and for you to see if you can find out. That just sounds insane to me. It feels like yesterday we were talking about the first set of London shows and me coming to see them. Now it's all about to be over? No way. At least this means you can use this free time to come see me on tour. My turn to serenade you.

The fact that there’s only three shows left on the European leg of the Eras tour actually blows my mind. At the start of summer — I knew this moment would be coming. Even though I had four months to think about it. Now that’s it’s finally here — don’t know what I’m going to do with myself when I’m back home. I mean, the obvious answer is to relax but what do you mean I won’t be on stage every weekend? Not very demure and not very cutesy. @notoriousstarters

See, I have the opposite problem. I can fall asleep anywhere, anytime. Sometimes without even meaning to. One time, I was at a Kevin Hart show with some friends and fully fell asleep during his set. If I could share this ability with you, I absolutely would because I think I need a little bit of yours. At least enough to keep awake to watch a full movie.

the fact that i can't fall asleep is starting to irritate me. like, i literally have to invest is so many "sleep relief" items that don't even work. i'm not stressing about anything, or worried -- i'm just hard of sleeping. what do you think @notoriousstarters ?

I'm pretty sure it felt like I threw my back out just from someone barely touching me once, never felt so old in my life than I did that day. And that was before I turned 30. I can only imagine what life has in store for us going forward.

you know how everyone always says that you never feel more your age than when everyone around you starts having babies and getting married, or when your back starts aching simply from getting out of bed? well today, i discovered that i never felt my age more than when my masseuse practically abused my body. i have pain in muscles, limbs and joints i didn't even know existed. contemplating filing a a complaint, but i know i will thank her in two to three days when i feel human again. it's only down from here right? / @notoriousstarters

That could never be me. That's a lie, I do that sometimes but it's not usually by choice. I'll plan a lazy day, then suddenly have plans or vice versa. Talking to yourself is fun, you'll learn just how funny you are if you make yourself literally laugh out loud. I do it a few times a day.

ever just wake up thinking "lazy day ahead" but then your inner go-getter's like "nah, let's seize the day!" so, i hit the pavement by jogging early today and now i'm stuck with a surplus of hours and a deficit of plans. my brain's on strike, demanding a day off but i'm here like, "nah, buddy, let's find something to do before i start talking back to myself." / @notoriousstarters

Absolutely, we're an emotional as fuck sign. Pisces and Cancer are both criers, it's what we do. Oooh, that's a good question. Now I'm going to end up researching it just so I can give you the proper answers. I've been mostly resting and relaxing for the last two months, actually.

You're blaming it on being a pisces? What can I blame on being a Sagittarius? This is information that I really need to know. Maybe it's just your body saying that you need to rest.

Margot: thats a great question. some people think that it brings good fortune. not sure if i agree. what do you think? any exceptionally good luck after your experience?

I'll just say it's because the tour dates near you are over, so if you can't see me then it's obviously not on your mind. I like the sound of that excuse. All around the US for a month! NYC or LA might be the easiest dates to make.

Why do I keep forgetting that you're going on tour again? I seriously thought that you'd finished with that. But I can't wait to see all the videos that come out of that and drool a little. Where are you touring around? Might have to come and try see some shows.

Exactly! I just don't feel like our brains are advanced enough to fully come up with these sorts of thing and they not be plausible. It's just a matter of time for everything. Whether that's five years from now or five hundred. Same, let me tell you. Just take me out immediately, I have no interest in living in that kind of hell. I can't make any such promises, I cry at anything and everything.

honestly, i get what you mean. sometimes it feels like fiction is just future reality waiting to happen—or maybe it’s all just hidden from us. keeps life interesting, if not a little terrifying, right? but hey, if the zombie apocalypse does go down, i won’t blame you because i will be dead because who wants to endure that? not me. you stick to writing those songs, and i’ll do my best to keep the tears at bay. it’s nice to meet you—promise i’ll try to keep the waterworks to a minimum.

It'd be really cute to watch you try, and really fun for me to prove you wrong. Did you just call me short? The actual audacity. I have other ways of hiding things without them just being high up. You're getting awfully romantic on me here, babygirl. Trying to make me fall for you all over again? Thank god, because I would die if I went like a month without you. A month normally doesn't even seem like a long time for tour, but a month without you? That sounds like a nightmare.

Now you're just making me want to prove you wrong.... but we both know that's not going to happen. Babe - you do realize that wherever you put things, I can reach, right? When have I ever lied to you, babe? I think that you're gorgeous. No matter what your hair looks like. If you could see yourself the way that I see you - you'd understand. Mhm, you know I'm going to be there as much as I can - so you'll still get to fall asleep with me sometimes. Won't have to go months without that.
