Unimpressive (and frankly rubbish quality) Polaroids were taken very quickly at the end of a meeting with the band against the windows of what was then our spanking new mews studio in Paddington. You can actually see our previous ground floor studio behind Graham’s head. These snaps were used as reference for in-house drawings to be made to emulate the silhouette profile of HM QE2 on the fake stamps that were stuck onto each promo CD wallet before being rubber stamped with the typography
