Drawn to Life: Two Realms introduced many human characters - grouped together as "Townspeople" by 505 Games - and all of them were based of the designs of the Raposa cast. As seen in the chart above, created by "guythatexists" on Discord, we can see the list of connections based solely on sprite-work, with unused characters tinted red.

Notably, Pouches and Gary had their counterparts removed from the game - an unnamed child and Rocko respectively - while the Hooded Raposa and Mike do not seem to have a counterpart. Other notably cut characters include Heather's Raposa form and Samuel.

The three sets of characters who are completely tinted red were not found in the files of the game, but rather in a sheet of all the Raposa sprites made for the game, published by Chern Fai on their Twitter (@cocefi).

Though many super fans know that Mari's name was originally Mayonaise with one "n", she had a third name that was used briefly during development. In the leaked Milestone 5 Build (MS5) of the original Drawn to Life, Mari's name was Madison.

Interestingly, Madison comments on the name Mayonaise after completing Mt. Snowy in this build:

"Did you know my parents named me Mayonaise? But then the kids at school made fun of me... so now my name is Madison... Pretty cool, huh?"

In the Milestone 6 Build leaked alongside MS5, her name had become "Mari", and there is no mention of "Madison" or "Mayonaise".

Playing Drawn to Life as a kid, I wanted to make fully realized art of the heroes and objects they have you draw like on the boxart or the hero templates. The actual end products were the most scuffed sprites made by man.

Fiora (left) and Lambert (right) are two of the most popular cut characters in the Drawn to Life series. The two of them were originally planned to appear in Watersong, though their role in the village is currently unknown.

However, the names Fiora and Lambert have no clear origin, as neither name appears in the game's files at all. The earliest known appearance of these names is on The Spriter's Resource, used by submitter "nya". Notably, The Cutting Room Floor does not name these two Raposa on their website.

Attempts to contact nya have been unsuccessful, so the true origin of these names may never be known.
