At least that's how I like to call it,

Along came Ivan, our knight on a non-discriminatory-full-range-of-color horse, with his designer tools and drew the first draft of Captain Bossman as a statue from the Hall of Heroes. 

 A zeitgeist of times past and a monument to a progressive future, his metaphors in writing focus on creating a humanized and inclusive workplace in the modern era for all human beings equally. Swipe right. Encouraged with a new vision, we decided to continue this pursuit of happiness. 

 To strive for our creative independence that felt right, to offer the world a different perspective not framed within PC boundaries and to help others learn without unnecessary bullshit.

Ahoy workplace mates! 

Let me tell you a story. Although being drawn as a masculine anthropomorphic figure, Captain Bossman's character is the epitome of wisdom in the workplace and a symbol of mentorship. 

Basically awesome and loving guy, according to everyone. Well, almost everyone. After receiving a surprising number of hateful comments about being misogynistic chauvinists, we decided to give up explaining that "Bossman" is a colloquial term for an autocratic leadership style, not a toxic glorification of Caucasian men in the workplace. This was a major hurdle and a potential showstopper. Should we create "Captain Bossma'am" to grow our idea and meet the pressures of the Cancel culture? A legit question emerged....
