Art Fight 2025 Has Started!

Let's get ready to rumble… ART FIGHT IS HERE!!!!!!!!!! Please see the following newspost or read the summary below it for more information:

Joining the Event

To join a team, click "Current Event" on the top right of your screen. You'll be able to be sorted into a team from there! For more information about how Art Fight works, check our About and FAQ pages.

Attacking

To attack someone, click the Submit tab on the top left to be taken to the attack submission page. Make sure sure that any attacks that need filters are tagged appropriately. If you don't know if your attack needs a filter, be sure to review our Filter Guide. If you're not sure how to rate your attack, check out our Attack Guide.

If you have additional questions, get in contact with a moderator or join our Discord server.

A few new features have been released as of late, including: the Discovery page, 12 character images for Supporter+ contributors, and several security changes. For a full list of all the changes, please see our Changelog.

Please take the time to review our Rules and Filter Guidelines, as we've made several updates to both in preparation for the 2025 event. It is especially important to familiarize yourself with them before you begin attacking, as failure to abide by either may hinder your ability to participate this year.

This year, we're taking big steps to address concerns regarding excessive competition on Art Fight. As a part of that effort, we'd like to remind you of our Spirit of Art Fight rules, which dictate the code of conduct we expect all users to abide by when interacting with, and creating art for, each other. While Art Fight has always come with a certain degree of competitiveness, it is first and foremost an art gifting game; it is the gifting aspect, not the competition, that is at Art Fight's heart.

Ghost Swap @fyeahghosttrick prompt by @youghostandyoutrick: Fandom fusion! Put anyone from the Ghost Trick cast into another fictional universe, as though they originated from that universe. Ghost Trick elements (like Temsik and how ghosts work) can be adapted for the new universe however you see fit.

I went with putting them in the Zelda universe (specifically BotW/TotK, or at least that's where I borrowed some of the outfits from hehe) some design notes + worldbuilding thoughts under the cut because. well I've had some Thoughts hehehe

Lynne's outfit is based on the Royal Guard Set from BotW/TotK, given that detectives are given such status in GT it seemed fitting to have her be a bit more important than a common soldier

Sissel's outfit is based on the Depths Set from TotK, mostly from the hood shape + spooky ghost vibes + the wraps gave me a way to cover his eyes w/o having sunglasses bc I can't remember if they have Fantasy Sunglasses in Zelda

Kamila's outfit is based on Zelda's dress in ALBW, because that's probably my favorite Zelda design + game + I thought she'd look cute :)

Kamila is the princess, Lynne is her personal guard, and Sissel is a ghost that helps Lynne like the Champions in BotW

Not pictured here, but Jowd + Alma are king and queen, Cabanela is also likely a royal guard, and Missle is still a good boy :) (not sure where Yomiel fits into all this but. he's probably There. Somewhere.)

the hourglass lantern Lynne has is actually Sissel's, sort of like a Poe's lantern.

Sissel can heal+revive Lynne if she's downed, like Mipha in BotW

Most people can't see Sissel, but like in canon if he revives them they can see him. His lantern is fully visible though, which is part of why Lynne carries it

something something Rock of the Gods -> Rock of the Goddesses (Triforce??)

I don't know what the quote-unquote "plot" of this would be, but I imagine at least Lynne and Sissel's reasoning for sticking together would be pretty similar to canon (mutual agreement to help each other out with their respective mysteries)

I had a lot of fun with this!! don't wanna speak too soon but honestly I might revisit this idea hehe :P
