This must be addressed to the Fablehaven/ Dragonwatch Fandom. (Spoilers)
Look guys I know Kendras had a pretty rough time so far. Like her brother is presumed dead a few times, she's presumed dead, her friends and family die. Yeah it's been rough.
But I feel like we all gotta give Seth a but more sympathy than we are. I mean he got kidnapped like 2, 3 times? He got shot by a arrow, bitten by a demon, lost his memories, manipulated so many times and gets blamed for it. HES A FRICKEN KID.
Anyways when he was kidnapped and manipulated not to mention mentally abused he was forced into destroying Wyrmroost. Everyone blamed him, even Kendra.
I felt so bad for him, he was confused without his memories no one was there to tell him it was okay or to help him through his memory loss. He knew no one, he trusted no one. But Ronodlin made him feel in place, unlike how Kendra and her family did. It seemed right to him, I mean come on, it was his place with all the dark magic and such.
I feel it's so unfair to blame him. Calvin did to his face, KNOX DID TOO! So when he got his memories back he blamed himself and felt that physical pain was what he deserved. Maybe even death. That is awful to think that at only 13, he deserved better from his friends and family. He deserved support.
He was 13. Leave the kid alone.

SETH AND BLACKWELL KEEP (SPOILERS THROUGH CHAMPION OF THE TITAN GAMES)
Several characters and many readers place blame on Seth for the fall of Wyrmroost, including Seth himself, but how fair is this, truly? While recently analyzing Dragonwatch, I wanted to consider how much fault actually rests on Seth for the fall of Blackwell Keep.
I’ll make the case here that Seth was a victim of abuse during the events of DW3, and as a result, he wasn’t in a position to make sound decisions. The fall of Wyrmroost therefore rests solely on his abusers: Ronodin, the Sphinx, and the Underking.

Okay but listen.
After Seth was kidnapped and his memories wiped. Grandpa tried to remain calm and keep the family afloat.
But one day Kendra hears crying from her bedroom. So she decides to investigate.
She goes down the hall and looks into Seths room, Grandpa's sitting on Seths bed clutching some of Seths belongings.
Kendra joins him on the bed, she puts her arm around him and they dont talk they just mourn for him.
They are both sharing the same desire to find Seth and bring him back home. But they both have no idea where he is, they have no leads. They feel like they caused it. Because Kendra let him open the door and Grandpa, because he didn't stay with him in his room.
Sorry I like to add a flare of dramatics to everything.

Kendra: Seth what are you doing?
Seth turns around holding a donut, a tiny Warren eating it.
Seth: "It was Warrens idea."
Kendra: "I can't deal with this today."
*walks away*

Okay so Seth got his memories back, and he was pretty devastated. And when someone goes through something like that, they aren't going to be the same. That's just facts.
But here me out.
Seth becomes a real bad ass, and is now pretty mature and tough. Since he's pretty much on his own now. Calvin's there with him, but you know, he's small. Calvin's small and can't help fight to much as a normal sized human could.
So after a while he becomes an amazing fighter, tough, mature everyone's shocked at how much he'd changed when they finally see him again. Seths proud of his fighting skills.
Maybe this is to much to hope for, but I really want a mature and tough Seth.
I need this this happen. We need this.
