hi! i was wondering if you know wether other fandoms also do yearly surveys for fans to complete since it's such a fun idea. i haven't seen any tho so that's why i'm asking!

i'm really appreciative of what you do every year and i always look forward to the results <3

i have seen a few pop up over the years, often because the creators are kind enough to credit me for the idea (even though they don't need to!!). for example, i've seen surveys for stray kids, ateez, and most recently tws! i was inspired myself by surveys in the shinee and vixx fandoms (i found the survey link post back from the very first carat survey where i mention it :'))

i do think i'm probably one of the only people who has been doing it for their fandom for this long tho....lol

Hii for the carat survey, did you list woozi’s solo simple under the mixed unit section by mistake?

If I’m fgtting abt a unit song also called simple then MY BAD, pls ignore me HAHH

hi there! since it's a b-side from one of their full group albums and not a solo released separately, it's included in mixed unit section (a unit of one lol). this is the first year i separated out the solos/osts/special tracks too, so i know it's a bit confusing. sorry about that!

10 years since SVT's debut + 1 fossil fan + 1 shining fandom = the 12th Annual Carat Survey is now open!

I had this ready to go a week ago but there was a question about Carat Bongs and then Pledis dropped the 10th anniversary edition announcement lol

In any case, I'm super excited to release this year's survey on such a significant milestone for the boys!

I really like the way you bring info about our (SVT's) fandom and wanted to do it for ze_roses too, but since it would have some similar questions I thought I'd ask first 😊

What time is it?? 10:10!! Time for the 10th Annual Carat Survey!

I cannot fathom the fact that this survey is literally as old as a fifth grader now, but here we are. I’ve said some version of this before, but even though I’m not that active in the fandom anymore, I’ll continue to make these as long as there are people taking them, so whether you’re new or returning - thank you so much for participating!

Hi everyone, Maddy here! New year, same game - I’m happy to announce that the 9th annual (!!!!!) Carat Survey is open for business!

I say this every time, but I’m still shocked that this has managed to keep going for so long, and I definitely couldn’t have stayed motivated as I enter my internet-old-age if it weren’t for my fellow fans who enjoy it as much as I do :)

The survey itself has come a long way since 2014, and of course this year features some new questions and tweaks. Responses will be open for about a month, and as always, results will be posted here and on my Twitter (@cameraseventeen). Check out past infographics here!

hi! i just checked my tumblr account after soooo many years— im so glad ure still here 🥺 although i havent ever reached out bc im shy, i would like to take this opportunity to thank u. u were one of the very first ppl ive relied onto when it comes to svt updates since day 1 :') the boys grew up so well 😭

Space was missing from the Mixed Unit B-side options... I def would have chosen that one were it there. Outside of that, I love doing this survey every year. Thanks for always putting it together!

thanks so much for the message anon! if you're talking about 끝이 안보여, it actually is one of the options - i didn't even realize that it had an alternate title :') sorry for the confusion!!
