I'm Cal a Trans/Masc Artist but I'm also Abt to lose my full time job with health benefits since the business is shutting down. I'm a type 2 diabetic that needs to be able to afford my medication to regulate my blood sugars so id appreciate a boost!!!

Animorphs 1998 orange backpack with cheetah print inside (source)

The backpack exterior is orange with an Animorphs ‘A’ logo on the top, a zipper pull with ‘Animorphs’ written in the book logo font is attached to the zipper of the smaller pocket, and the inside of the backpack is a fuzzy cheetah print.

The tag says “Distributed Internationally by Nickelodeon” and “©1998 Viacom International Inc.” so this backpack could be considered promotional merchandise for the TV show, and the use of the word ‘International’ suggests this item was originally sold in countries other than the US, even though that is the location of the ebay seller.

The Ishkoort thing I cannot explain but i think it is implied that Jake no longer has the Howler DNA when he and the group are transported back to Earth.

Like how with the Sarrio (idk if thats how it's spelt anymore oops) rip where him and his friends died - he no longer has the Panther DNA except this has to do with Ellimest and Crayak time/space shenanigans.

I don't think it's confirmed either but it's completely plausible that the Ishkoort could be in a completely other part of time in just a different galaxy. (non cannon but I always thought of it as a possibility).

Also I mean the Yeerks think the kids are all andalites. I don't think they're gonna listen to them any time soon.

I wonder why the Animorphs aren't blabbing to the Yeerks about the Iskoort every single chance they get. 🤔

Some kind of Prime Directive shit?? Can't tell a species important information that they haven't already figured out for themselves??

[I also wonder why Jake doesn't use his Howler morph every single time there's a battle. Utterly unparalleled in combat, and it comes with the racial memory of a species that has "never" lost a fight; aka superhuman tactical experience.]

The Doylist explanation is straightforward enough: you don't get as much story out of your characters being OP as hell.

But what's the Watsonian explanation here?

Why can't they tell the anti-war Yeerks that what they want to achieve is a solved problem, that their cousins, the Yoorts, have figured out how to experience the wonders of the universe without having warmongering/slavery/genocide as prerequisites??

[Watsonian explanation for not using the Howler, probably: Jake is already struggling hard enough with the trauma of being a child-soldier. He ain't gunna make that worse for himself by becoming a baby-soldier (probably, also, Crayak would Smite him for the audacity)]
