Personally, I think Keith listens to things like Paramore, MCR, and Evanscence things like that

But I think he still holds on to those country boy roots and sometimes listens to country music, as it reminds him of home.

Other than that, I could see Keith vibing to pink pony club 😋

Lance

Most common headcanon I see is him listening to Shakira (WHICH I 100% AGREE WITH) I think he would also listen to Marina and the diamonds, and maybe a little Sabrina Carpenter, and some Taylor Swift

(He doesn't admit he likes these artists though, he's very secretive about it for who knows why)

I could see him listening to Juice WRLD tho!!

Also came across a headcanon that he sings Spanish love songs to Keith and i just love that 😭🫶

Hey Callum again!! Since you mostly like answering headcannons, I'd like to ask, any klance headcannons? Like general ones about their relationship ^^

One of my FAVORITE headcanons is that Lance always says shit to Keith in Spanish so Keith doesn't understand it

Lance: *in Spanish* "I don't know how it's possible for someone to be so violent and so pretty at the same time, but here you are."

Keith: "What the fuck did you just say to me."

Keith realizes his feelings first, but Lance is the one to confess. He'd do it in some stupidly cheesy way too and stutter his ass all over the place

At first they try to hide their relationship from the others, as per Keith's request. Lance thinks it's bc Keith isn't super open abt his life, but Keith just thinks it's funny

Keith has a great sense of humor and it baffles Lance when he finds out

Lance likes to play "What Can My Galra Boyfriend Do?", in which he tests out different things to see how much Galraness Keith inherited. It never ends well

Keith: "You're so stupid, Lance."

Lance: "You know what else is stupid? Your mom!"

Keith: "I don't have a mom."

Lance: "Oh my god I am so sorry."

They have a chart in their shared room of all the drama that goes down on the team *technically it's just Lance's but Keith is nosy, so of course he's getting in on it*

Lance: "Your eyes are so gorgeous, you know? And you're one of the most badass people I know, I'm so glad the universe has allowed me to meet someone as amazing as you."

Keith: "You're neat too."

Lance will constantly be doing stuff to try and impress Keith and then just fail miserably every time

L A N C E !!!

Lance is my favourite!! For many reasons, but mostly because I relate to him on a lot of levels, mainly with

- self recognition issues, aka what happened when Lance doubted his skills as a paladin, and was thinking about stepping down.

I struggle with this, mostly as an artist, as I've seen my friends, and other people I know in life, have better skills, and most of the times doubting myself about my artist skills 😔 But I've gotten better at just focusing on my own art and in turn I felt like it helped me get better!!

- value in relationships, platonic, family, romantic even. I love how he values his relationships with the other paladins, about how he's always willing to take steps for others, comforting his friends, and always willing to step up as a person, even though he's cocky and can be full of himself (mostly in the earlier seasons) he's got a heart of gold underneath all that!!

Lance tends to put up this persona of himself being a "ladies man," the cocky flirt even. But there's so much more to his character than just that, he's not just the love interest, he tends to be the emotional support of others, a hard worker, he's also a pretty good well rounded character, he has his own flaws and insecurites, which help him become a better paladin throughout the show. Honestly, though, later, seasons mainly treat him as the "love interest," and I don't think that's really a way to describe him, as he's just SO much more than that!!

I love his dynamic with other characters, SO SO MUCH!

There's Hunk and Lance. They're basically best friends!! Best friends since the garrison, I love their moments together, even though it's not much, and mostly joking and small banter, but in the end they're really close friends who've always got eachothers backs, and knowing how close they are, makes them a really good team. They show their best values and bring out the best in each other!!

There's Pidge and Lance, who are more like a brother/sister duo, with Lance being like a second brother to Pidge. A moment that really stood out to me was Pidge dragging Lance along to help her find enough GAC to purchase a video game from the space mall, I love how Lance just simply went along with it, spending time with her as if she was his own sister, and in return, Pidge traded away a video game so that Allura could get a dress for her date with Lance, as Pidge knew how much this meant to him, even though she was reluctant at first!

Coran and Lance, having a father-son bond, similar to Shiro, being the guide for the paladins, acting as a father figure (space dad)

And then there's Keith and Lance, Keith and Lance, the "rivals" who compete for Np reason, who grow to accept eachother. A good example of acceptance shown between their bond is when the Black Lion had chosen Keith as the paladin, while at first, Lance was jealous, he learned to realise and proceeded to comfort Keith about his new position, showing that yes its going to he difficult, but he says to Keith that he is the one for the job, and gives him a fond look, stating that even though no one can replace Shiro, Keith can lead the team, and that he'll always be there with Keith. (Kinda cute as Lance sorta becomes his right hand man!) And the fact that Lance trusts Keith enough to get some words before his date with Allura, Lance going to Keith of all people when he was unsure about his place as a paladin, Lance even comforting Keith, and helping him during missions, being by his side, the jokes, the playful name calling. Everything, I love their dynamic!!

I love Lance as a character, sure, I'm still SUPER upset on how his life is after the events of the series, but in short, Lance, Lance McClain is my favourite vld character.

If you had to pic one fic/piece of media that represents Klance the way you see it, what would you choose?

Ohh really good question!! I've read alot of fics, I think the fic "King and his Fisherman" by highly_caffinated on ao3 describes older Klance well, especially with its amazing story!! (I love this fic)

The fic describes change well, I love how it includes flashbacks to klances past relationships, and then later in the fic, Keith and Lance try to make things right again with their new one, I absolutely love their dynamic in this fic, amazing read, highly recommend!

For younger klance, I would say some scenes/episodes in the series itself, some moments of their banter, some moments of heartfelt conversations, I'd say these sum up their relationship, and how I view them

Essentially:

Rivals who compete with eachother for no reason, but have their moments of banter and actual heart felt talks :)

Should I watch S8 😭?? I know that it’s horrible (and I might have been spoiled some things) but idk-

Well anon, it really depends what you fancy in a shows season!! I recommend on first watch, yes you should watch season 8, but rewatching it, it is okay to skip seasons every now and then.

(Lmao when I rewatch it I always skip certain seasons and episodes)

I would cover important stuff, but you did ask for no spoilers so 😔

But I dunno if you would know them since you sound like a person who's new to the fandom, but yeah, I mean, there is a major character death that's all I'll really cover 😭

This season gets a bit more, I guess serious? I mean it is the last season so makes sense, but there are some moments I found enjoyable 😋

I recommend still just watching it if it's you're first time!! I still did even when I got all those spoilers anon 😭
