your first draft doesn't have to be perfect, but it's okay to spend some extra time on it. maybe it will help you in the long run

it's okay to write an enemies to lovers story with the most clichéd scenes you can think of. you don't always have to be original, especially not if your writing isn't published professionally

you don't need to be good at writing, or know every rule there is to it. if you enjoy it, that's enough

it is OK to want kudos, comments, and reblogs on your work, but even if you don't get a lot of those, that does not reflect your talent as a writer. numbers can't determine your ability to write

it's okay to take a break. and it's okay to abandon your WIP

Which means she is able to comfort you

If you two are going out to eat for example, she'll offer to order for you even though she gets anxious

Then again, most of the time you two have dates indoors or where there aren't many people so you don't normally have to worry about being around that many people

If you get uncomfortable eating in front of people, she'll offer for you two to sit somewhere where not many people would be able to see you

And if it's difficult for you to go to school, she would like to go with you

She can spend some time with you and make sure that you're doing okay so it's a win-win for her ✨

It also helps her with her people skills because we all know Futaba was basically a complete shut-in before she joined the Phantom Theives

So there isn't a need for you to feel bad for her doing all this stuff for you

She loves you so of course she'd want to help her partner in crime

And as stated before, it helps her with her people skills

All in all, very caring girlfriend who understands what you're going through

Makoto is pretty good with talking to people (she's the prez after all) so you don't have to worry about having to talk to the cashier when you're ordering food or buying stuff when you're with her

If you would like to try and talk to people more, just know that Makoto will help you in any way she can

For example, slowly introducing you to her friends (the Thieves) one by one until you can talk to them by yourself

You don't ever have to feel scared eating in front of her because she isn't one to judge (but if you don't want to, then that's okay just as long as you do eat something)

She would feel very bad if you weren't taking care of yourself properly

Whenever you guys go to school, she holds your hand as a small way to assure you that she's still with you

If you ever feel bad for her doing all of this for you, Makoto will not tolerate such

She just wants to help you cope with something that affects you on a daily basis

》Yes, it was him who wanted to try and see if you were how everyone thought. He wasn't intimidated at all. He was... kind of curious.

》He slowly started to approach you, exchanging simple words like 'good morning' or 'what are you doing?'. There was a bit of challenge in his voice, but he wasn't looking for problems with you.

》The answers you gave surprised and confused him at the same time. Your voice tone was rather soft and kind, your words weren't rude at all. The Black Guard expected other kind of answers, and due to this, he didn't know what to say whenever you replied to him for the first times.

》After seeing some interactions between Fan and you, Xie finally decided to start talking to you as well. Now that he knew you probably weren't about to start arguing with the first person to cross in your way, he did feel bad for judging you by sight and wanted to apologize.

》Xie was confused too, but he loved that other side of yourself you started to show more often as you grew closer to him and Fan. After a while, they both came to the same conclusion: you wouldn't even hurt a bug. You were a calmed, sweet man who loved affection and always avoided fights and arguments.

》Of course, Fan liked this side of you as well. He wouldn't mention it that often, but being and spending time with you became a daily thing, just as for Xie.

》It wasn't a surprise that after a while you guys started dating, or at least not for them, now that they knew how you truly were.

》Cuddles and affection is always a yes whenever you ask for it. Even though Fan isn't the type who likes PDA and prefers to leave it for when you are alone, he doesn't mind sometimes. Xie is more open about it, so PDA isn't a big deal for him.

》This usually leads to some people looking weird at you, because, well, it doesn't fit with the first impression you give. Don't worry, though. When the Guards realize it, those people would wish they minded their own business from the start.

》Besides this, neither survivors or hunters are willing to mess with you, honestly. But you can be sure that when it happens, you'll see the most protective side of the guards. They won't let anyone say a bad word or put a finger on you, not even talk behind your back when you're not there.

》Sometimes, they like to joke about how tough you seem and how sweet you are, because it's almost unbelievable. Most of the times, it's Fan who teases you, while Xie tries to defend you saying something even more absurd so the three of you can laugh together.

Note: I loved this idea! Seriously though, I usually read fantasy books where the protagonist is an assassin apprentice– Enough about me, I hope you like it!

》The Guards and you had been together for a while, and everything was perfect with them. They both loved and cared for you just as you did for them, and you were probably even more affectionate than Xie (of course, Fan was affectionate as well, he just didn't show it that often). Sweet words, hugs and holding hands was part of your daily lives in the manor.

》However, they never brought up your past. They never asked, and you never told them. It wasn't necessary after all, right? As long as you guys had each other, the person you were before or your profession shouldn't matter.

》It was only a matter of time. Xie and Fan found it out.

》They are not the most friendly or social hunter, and they preferred to spend most of their time with their s/o. But they would speak with the others sometimes, small conversations without an important meaning after them.

》And when Yidhra had the chance, she didn't shut her mouth. After Wu Chang and the Dream Witch discussed for 30 minutes who was the most annoying survivor during matches (which was a waste of time if you ask her, but she didn't have anything else to do), you came in to ask Xie and Fan to eat together in their room.

》The Guards were a bit confused about Yidhra's comment at first. They could have asked her more, but they didn't want to hear something like that through someone like her. If someone was going to tell them about it, it was going to be you.

》Xie and Fan accepted your offer to eat together as usual, but this time they had a question for you. They'd understand if you didn't want to answer, but they couldn't keep it for themselves, both with the same thing on mind.

》"Dear... Is it true? Are you really an assassin?" It was Fan who spoke, unable to stay quiet for much longer.

》"Don't feel forced to answer us. This won't change the fact that we love you." Xie followed up with a soft voice.

》They were grateful that you decided to open up to them about your past. You didn't even have to tell them what your profession was about— they knew it very well. However, they were surprised. A lot. They'd never thought that a lovely, affectionate person like you could ever have that kind of job. It was a different side of you, yet it didn't affect their feelings.

》After that, your relationship was still the same— you guys grew closer to each other everyday. Just as Xie told you, you being an assassin wasn't going to change it in a negative way.

》Fan wanted to ask you more about your poisons and weapons, and maybe borrow them for future matches, but Xie had to stop him.

》They were very protective before, even knowing that you were fully capable of defending yourself if it was necessary. But now that they know more about you, they don't even have to worry about anyone trying to mess with you. They did ask you for one thing, though.

》He started to sleep with you more often, until this became almost a habit. 》He can take care of you by himself, but sometimes he prefers to leave some things to Emily. She's a doctor, after all, and if he feels he's doing something wrong, he can always trust the only one in the manor.

》Once you told them that it happens for no reason, they started to discuss about a type of 'protocol' for whenever you fainted. They didn't question you or took a lot of time on the 'why'— Your wellness was all that mattered.

》If you were about to faint during a match with them, they would immediately stop the chasing and carry you to a quiet place to take care of you. Even Fan, who takes his matches more seriously than Xie, doesn't care about losing as long as you're okay.

》They check how you're feeling after you wake up and slowly help you to get up if you can. If you think you can rest there they'd go and chase someone else, but if the guards think you need to rest properly they would just surrender and take you to your bed.

》Even if hunters don't speak to survivors very often unless they have a kind of relationship, Xie and Fan might want to talk to the doctor a little more about the subject. Just in general, to be aware of what they should and shouldn't do and to know when it is something to worry about. All they want is to let you know that they'll always be there for you.

since you’re both shy you’d probably stay at each others houses for dates, and at most somewhere more private (like a small cafe date)

i think these dates would include something like playing video games throughout the night, or having funny conversations together
