shout out to my business teacher who when talking about dealing with belligerent customers, went on a tangent about an elderly man who would throw a fuss in a KFC every second week like clockwork to get a free meal

and then went on to explain that she realised he was doing it just before his next pension payments were due, she realised he was likely doing this because he was running low on money and was just trying to make it to pension day without starving

she said they would just give him a free box of food on that one day every second week and he was content

so shout out to my business teacher for teaching us how to be compassionate for the people who are struggling, and that a box of chicken will barely take a penny out of a corporation's pocket but will feed a starving man on his last dollar

I thought this course would be boring as hell, but damn I love this teacher

find something to compliment someone for at least 4 times a day. notice the little things about the world that make you happy, and use that to make other people happy.

talk to people. initiate conversation as often as you possibly can. keep your mind busy and you wont have to worry anymore

picture the bad intrusive thoughts in youe head as an edgy 13 year old and tell them to go be emo somewhere else

if someone makes you feel bad most of the time, stop talking to them. making yourself hang out with people who drain you is self harm. stop it.
