thanks for all the guesses so far, that was fun! feel free to send more if you want. I’ll probably add hints to the more obscure unguessed ones tomorrow when I’m inevitably bored at work :}.

I'm not trying to lift the curse or anything but hypothetically, if someone WERE to lift the curse, how would they go about doing it? asking for science. just curious about it is all. I love the curse

All right, I'm getting closer. Lad, a Dog?
Ayyy we have a winner!! I really wasn’t sure if anyone was going to get this book. Another book that was weirdly fascinating to me, even though I thought it was sad. It was a dog book from the dog’s pov I guess, which was good enough for me at eight lol.

I'm preparing to deliver my thesis "You Need a Snout Or You Just Look Like Bigfoot" to the International Movie Werewolf Association. I may die, but the truth must be spoken.

6 - Little Men?
Correct! One of my childhood favorites that I read many times and much preferred to Little Women. I loved reading about Jo and Friedrich and Plumfield and the boys. (I reread both as an adult and I’m inclined to think the same. I do love them both, but Little Women tends to moralize a little heavily in a way that tends to grate on me, and while LM does have plenty of moralizing its in a way that bothers me less.)

Anyway these are the core aspects of each of their arcs/characterisation, Scott's is rooted in his faith in friends/himself and the gain of power, Lydia is rooted in reason/sight and the loss and regaining of it and her gain of power through that, Allison is rooted in her fear of weakness and also the need for her to see the Argent history, to be clear-eyed about everything around her when so much is purposefully hidden from her, Stiles is also rooted in his own fear of his weakness and his desire for more strength than doesn't come, but his fulfilment is much more based in faith, both in himself, that he has a purpose, but also in his friends, that they will forgive him, love him, come find him, etc etc, even if he doubts his own place in the group.
