Update Patch Notes 07/07

Welp I’m almost a week late but lets do this.

Odyssey Chapter 3

The third and final chapter of the Cookie Odyssey is now available. It's unlocked by finishing the 3rd day in the second chapter. As before with the previous instalments, you need chapter specific quills to progress. They are earned through the odyssey missions and will reward crystals if you have excess after 100% the chapter.

New Financier Cookie

The new Financier Cookie is a frontline defender class. Her skill will allow her to protect the cookie with the highest ATK or, if Clotted Cream Cookie is present, protect him as priority. She is also able to heal the cookie she may be protecting at the time. If the target is Clotted Cream the abilities stats receive a bonus. The exact description in game is as follows: "Like a true Paladin of unfaltering belief, Financier Cookie protects an ally cookie from the start of the battle until the moment she hits the ground. Financier Cookie's top priority is Clotted Cream Cookie, but if he is not present, she'll protect the allied Cookie with the highest ATK. Upon using her skill, Financier Cookie's regular attack will deal area damage, she will also heal the Cookie she is protecting in addition to herself, increase the ATK, DMG and CRIT Resist, as well as grant Light's Shield against her enemies. The Light's Shield will act as a Shield and deliver the Light's Judgment to those who dare to damage it when it disappears."

World Exploration Master Mode

A new tier of World Exploration has been released, available after Episode 10 in the normal story mode has been completed. It is currently available up to Episode 4 with more being released at a later date. To access each Episode the Dark Mode variant must be completed beforehand. The rewards are ingredients used for the new progression system and include both the new Soul Essence of different rarities and new Soulcores in a similar way to the Dark Mode Soulstones.

New Cookie Progression Options

With the new update we see the additions of both the Magic Candies and the Ascension System. The first 3 Magic Candies available belong to Espresso Cookie, Vampire Cookie and Purple Yam Cookie. Each candy will upgrade the respective cookies existing ability, increasing their power and giving them some new tricks. The new effects are available to read in the candy crafting menu. These candies can only be crafted after the cookie has reached at least Lv.50 via Star Jellies, the Hall of Ancient Heroes does not count. Every 10 levels of the candy will add a new effect available to see in the craft menu. Some ingredients for crafting the candies can be created in the new lab building. The cookies receiving candies have had the following stat changes: - Espresso Cookie, ATK increased by 16%, DEF increased by 10.5%, HP increased by 14%, Skill DMG increased by 23%, The pulling effect of the skill has been enhanced. - Purple Yam cookie, ATK increased by 48%, DEF increased by 12.4%, HP increased by 8.8%, Yam has become more resistant to interrupting effects. - Vampire cookie, DEF increased by 3%, HP increased by 5%. Cookie Ascension is now available. Once cookies reach 5 Star a new Ascend button will be available on their page. Ascending cookies requires Soulcores with 200 cores needed total to max them out at 5A star. This increases their stats and power in the same way promotion does.

Bits and Bobs

Here are some additions that aren't big enough for their own section.

Daily Bounties have been increased to level 12 allowing for more rewards to be collected.

Magic laboratory has been added. you can craft Candy ingredients, Time Jumpers, Skill powder and more. It's available once you reach kingdom level 35 and complete the questline.

Landmark Sky Garden has been added. Giving players more space and creative freedom Landmarks can now be placed inside the Sky Garden and still give their bonuses. It's available at kingdom level 5 after it's questline is completed.

There's 8 new decors relating to the Republic, Financier cookie and Oyster cookie.

Devil cookie, Mango cookie and Squid Ink cookie have had their skills DMG increased by 39%, 32.8% and 6.8% respectively. Devil cookie's skill now does more ATK/MOV SPD reduction going from 15% up to 20%.

Along with some more minor bug fixes, adjustments and QoL changes that's it for this update.

12-30 Dark Mode

I know a lot of people are going to struggle with 12-30 in the world exploration so this is the team build I used to finish it. It’s capable of completing the dark mode variant on auto so its more than capable of doing the original version. Team was built before the level cap raise so were level 60 originally.
