That's what I meant. He literally sticks his head in a book and adsorbs the knowledge contained within. While asleep.

It's not the most efficient process.

*Leon, Jin, and Rio eventually are discovered at a local Rhodolite bar.*

Leon: *Lifts head up from conversations with multiple groups, grabbing a beer* Oh, hey there Gil. Take my hand and—

Gil: Take that hand and use it to canvass for votes. Don’t you have multiple fan clubs?

Leon: Well, yeah, but so do other princes. And folks are a part of multiple clubs, so I’m helping them decide who to vote for.

Jin: *Ambles by, arm around a busty waitress* Good thinking bossman.

Gil: *Grabs a list from a bar patron next to Leon*

Gil: This person isn’t even voting for you! *List of pros for other candidates includes: Kagari (murder kitty); Keith (two men for the price of one!); Azel (voting donations tax deductible)*

Leon: So? I’m helping these folks stay true to themselves. Which makes them happy and smile. Which makes me smile.

Gil: That’s so sweet I might throw up. Ugh.

Gil: Jin, how are you with votes? Note I said votes PLURAL. You seem to need a reminder of that.

Jin: I’ve got plenty of ‘em, no worries. *Waitress pulls Jin away, giggling and shaking her head*

Gil: My binder’s bigger. But filled with Emma’s dietary and daily work habits. Hehe.

Rio: I’m telling people to use any votes for me and do a write-in campaign for my mistress instead!

Gil: *Is about to retort but pauses as:*

Water splashes on Rio’s binder from the tavern’s wet t-shirt contest. Jin rapidly transforms from voter to fully fledged judge and ogler.

Rio polishes a set of “Yes She Can!” bar coasters with Emma’s face on them before distributing them to various patrons.

Leon speaks to a large crowd, his words riling up the people. “Yes, Clavis would appreciate your support! He really does need love and deserves it.”

Gil: *Walks out to a darkened alley, meeting Roderic*

Gil: Get the back brace. I’m going to have to carry this team more than we thought.
