Father Time, Pollux and Castor's father, and Icarus' idol.

Oldest of the gods with his twin sister, Universe. He's known for his unbiased neutrality, even in the presence of Calamity. In his eyes, things simply are or will be. A being to rule over all timelines, his most prominent prophecy claims the birth of a god from conflicting mortal blood. Though some skeptics may still doubt him, Father Time's prophecies will always inevitably come to fruition in one form or another.

Been a minute, so here's some old scrapped character design concepts

Mischa, otherwise known as Mortician, was once a renowned scientist known for her work in the field of genetics and expanding human capability. (CW under the cut for death mentions, including but not limited to: spousal death. Mentions of stolen remains, and human experimentation.)

Mischa was sent down after it was found she'd stolen the remains of her late spouse. To the authorities' horror, she was mostly successful in her revival of his corpse. Though, to her dismay, he passed yet again shortly after the discovery due to an instability in her method.

Because of this, Icarus took a great interest in her and put her to work at the side of Dex to create the Dracan and Nova experiments.

Nova has certainly gained her favor being as they are far more easily accessible to her and thus she is able to visit them more frequently. Often, she'll bring care baskets, aware of the horrors the subjects go through, yet still powerless to stop it under the authority of Icarus. She has saved only one subject thus far and since paid the price with Icarus, hence her scarring in the shape of his mask. She still plans to help others, though this time she plans to have a much larger operation. As such, she lies in wait for the perfect ally, one that won't be under as much of the diligent scrutiny of Icarus.

Renatus, The First Reborn, His Favored Puppet.

Constant cycles of death and rebirth have left him cold, and uncaring. With nothing to lose, and nothing more to gain, Ren sees the world as a dull, troublesome plaything. Threats to his well-being are trivial, making him a perfect puppet to Icarus. There is no worry of losing him as an asset, as he will always rebuild and come back as he has done countless times before.

Being part of a secret experiment, he is unable to interact with many others. Being a favorite of Icarus, however, means he at least has the freedom to roam the lower levels of the castle.

Sleep is a luxury to him, one he indulges in every chance he gets. He can oftentimes be found asleep in random corners and crevices throughout the lower levels of the estate. To the dismay of Donatello, Ren has even been known to fall asleep while bathing on occasion.

Big baddie for Welcome to Sector A. Puppeteer is the husband to Dolly and Warden Officiate of The Sectors, a multitude of prisons turned into small cities to house his experiment prisoners. Icarus claims himself the most devout follower of Father Time, citing his scar as proof.

In his youth, Icarus would visit Time’s Temple daily, diligently abiding his prayers. Until one sermon, as Icarus sat in prayer, his fellow church goers rushed in panic. He didn’t realize anything was going on until he looked up to find a snarled, foaming maw greeting him. Instead of running as the others had, Icarus took to his prayers once more. As a consequence, the dog launched forward, tearing apart Icarus’ face and chest until the attack was stopped by a group of members from the congregation.

Before their eyes, the offending creature dissipated into a cloud of mist as they held it down. Icarus couldn’t hear the soft chuckling of it over his blood curdling screams as he laid curled on the floor surrounded by concerned witnesses. After his return from the hospital, he was revered for his faith and peculiar scar left by the devil. They saw it as a sign from Time, protection of his life from the beast.

From then on, Icarus sky rocketed to power and influence, another gift from Time it seemed. He was known within his congregation as “Father’s Beloved” and has carried this sentiment with him throughout his positions in office.

Now, he sits at the top, punishing sinners and reusing their “tainted vessels” for his experiments, seeing it as therapy and finally putting a use to the mind and body his prisoners had deemed to waste on crime.

Renova, the fated god. God of rebirth, and descendant of Mortis and Vitae. Living the suffering of humans has brought forth a soft spot in him, and he takes great care in guiding souls sent to him through the process of reincarnation. It is said the philtrum is formed after he hushes the worries of souls prior to passing back through the Divine’s Gate back into the land of the living. The indent above the lips is carried as a sign of his love, and those with deeper philtrums are said to have either curious souls and/or a tendency to overthink; alternatively, smaller philtrums are viewed as a sign of nonchalance and even temperedness in the soul. Renova keeps strict watch over his gate; being the wielder of the Purifying Flame, no unready souls nor malevolent forces will pass through under his vigilance.

Calamity, The Corrupted. Once a keeper of reincarnation and balance within the universe, he turned on his purpose to instead decimate the peace he once held dear. His followers tend not to follow him himself, but instead the idea of living for yourself and your own wants rather than simply live the life handed to you. He takes great pleasure in tormenting Mortis, “affectionately” referring to him as “Killer” every time he manages to break through the barrier to Death’s realm.
