💥= hoooo boy. TeVe is my OC but the version of her I selfship with and the actual character in my world Corla are different, selfship TeVe is technically a “saved” version, she starts off the same; aggressive, troubled, and very traumatised, due to the fact she lost her qpr partner to the Corruption (a parasite that attacks primarily the brain, it’s characterised by black goop lol), she goes on to try and help people by smuggling them out of Huzlip (the country she is from which is the most affected by the Corruption) into Kinalai (the country that originally oppressed and still relatively does despite the Huzlipian Revolution) because while most Huzlipians fucking hate Kinalaians, they would rather be in a country that hates them than die a painful and slow death. When she inevitably has to kill off somebody (a mother’s child) who was infected by the Corruption to ease their pain, her mind warps almost entirely. Her already existing OCD worsens tenfold and while in the “saved” version, this is where she quits that job as she can’t mentally handle it and “leaves the city to die somewhere else” (told by her friend Cosmo in the original story, except Corla TeVe denies it and continues), her OCD affects a lot of her life, her working out because less of a hobby and more of a requirement (going to failure regularly to the point of damage) and having problems with spills and things tricking her brain into thinking she’s infected (scared to hurt my S/I). She slowly gets better but it does affect her self worth gravely, and makes it hard for her to be connected with people, she struggles to relate to my S/I and his BPD and she struggles to understand being in love (that moment in her past made her OCD basically make her feel unlovable, in the sense of unfeeling rather than self loathing), she’s shut off from the event in a lot of emotional aspects but the whole self-ship plot line is for helping her slowly come to terms with it, her and Charlie/Fox’s relationship actually makes up quite a bit of her self worth, because she sees someone she cares about so strongly is in love with her and it helps her slowly recover !! (Sorry I am those self shippers that are ANGSTY :3)

✒️ = her original motivation in life was losing her qpr partner, the second was for that child - that nobody ever had to suffer like that again, her new motivation for actually settling down and healing due to the damage she did to herself pushing for those previous two motivations is just Charlie/Fox’s sake, she still helps with carrying people over borders but in a lot less corrupted city in Huzlip and actually part of an underground corporation with support available rather than a small team of guys desperate to help, she hates not doing more or taking the “easier option” but she knows (thanks to Fox) that it’s all she can really do without killing herself in the process. She’s motivated to heal by the power of love and friendship LMAOOO.

❌ = she is quite good at lying, her job requires lying about basically a whole half of her day to authorities and untrustworthy people that may report her, but when it comes to her boyfriend she finds it an actual struggle to lie, not necessarily in a good way either, it feels like her filter is completely eroded and it does cause some disputes sometimes, when she does lie it can be difficult to tell because of the helmet blocking her face but her fists will often scrunch up more and she’ll straighten up her body, almost like she realises you’re going to figure her out and therefore just wants to intimidate you into ignoring it.
