I stopped playing like a while ago. I realized playing smite was like a bad relationship with all of the glaring bugs it had that never gets fixed and balance changes that are ALWAYS against what the majority of the community actually wants.

They then come with like one patch every few months that's a ton of stuff the community has been begging them for and everyone forgives them. Break the cycle, girls. Leave that toxicity behind.

Will there be any Matchmaking improvements in Season 5?

We talked about this a little bit on the 5.1 Update Showcase on Twitch, but I am still seeing a lot of questions so I’d like to make sure this is posted somewhere for people to refer to later.

Yes, there will be Matchmaking Improvements in Season 5.

This will be a big part of the Project Olympus Initiative. Throughout 2018 we will be constantly dedicated to improving matchmaking.

We have increased the team that monitors and adjusts matchmaking. They work specifically on the matchmaking algorithm and they collect a vast amount of data about how players are matched. 

The immediate goal is to improve Queue times without affecting match quality, we have implemented a change to the code for this during 4.25, and another one is planned soon.

Going forward, we will be gathering data on matchmaking to see what is going on, and we will use that information, as well as your feedback, to plan changes.

We will be making changes to optimize our matchmaking algorithm to increase match quality. This process has already begun internally.

She proudly watches the young woman who aggressively snips her hair fiercely short at her bathroom counter.

She is a soft shoulder to cry on when you had to leave someone who did not give you your righteous due.

She’s there for the first kiss and there for the thousandth.

She’s in every moment you give a piece of your heart to another. And the ones you have for saved yourself.

And though I struggle to see her in me. I have seen her, in each and every one of you.
