pathetic romanticism - what a fool i used to be, writing about love and beauty and nature. they see me and think one word: innocence. innocence got me here - and where is here? here is where people say i’m fun but actually think i’m quite a boring one. they all say i’m going to succeed but they all hope i’ll keel over in greed. they tell me i’m perfect but whisper to each other words of disrespect. they expect me to do everything, telling me what to bring -  they want me to be theirs. and when i stripped to the only thing i had left - honesty - i shattered them. they walked away and thought one word: bitch.
