You can't forget about me While you weren't looking I was getting even higher Say what you want about me Your words are gasoline on my fire You can hate me, underestimate me Do what you do cause what you do don't phase me Just when you think I'm at the end Any second I'mma catch my second wind

1: But I Can’t Control My Mind
Betty constantly asked herself what the banner of the Cooper-Blossom house would look like. Of course the pure gold of the Cooper and the crimson of Blossom houses would definitely make an appearance. The colours would not clash, however the sigil would be more tricky. The golden sun would be pretty and possibly work well with the infinity sign. Maybe the reason for her queries was because she was trying to not think about the fact that the Coopers and Blossoms, rival families for centuries, would be joined together after their son got her older sister pregnant. The blonde hated the Blossom twins. Cheryl Blossom was entitled and manipulative while Jason Blossom just seemed so untrustworthy--she prayed that her future niece or nephew wouldn't turn out like Jason. The other downside was that her parents seemed to stop paying attention to her. Hal and Alice were too busy pampering over Polly's needs and entertaining Clifford and Penelope Blossom who were staying with them until the wedding. Betty was not pleased to have to deal with Cheryl every single day. Just like how Betty wasn't pleased to deal with this party. Her mother thought it would be a great idea to invite a whole bunch of other royal families over to celebrate the joining of House Blossom and House Cooper months before the actual wedding. She heard that Archibald Andrews or as she affectionately referred to him as Archie and Kevin Keller would be attending and she was glad there would be some familiar faces around. Luckily she wasn't asked to greet guests, that was Polly and Jason's job. She was just supposed to stand there while she, Princess Elizabeth Cooper, would be complimented by way too many nobles that desperately wanted her affections.
The first hour of her evening was spent with Kevin, the two of them danced together clumsily mostly because Betty was not the best dancer and Kevin was too busy dreamily staring off at one of the guards named Moose. Betty saw a flash of red hair that wasn’t like the Blossom’s at all. And all she thought about was how happy she was to see her other childhood best friend at the party. The blonde desperately wanted to go over and talk to him when she realized he was talking to a very gorgeous short brunette. Had Betty seen her before? She wasn’t sure. But she looked very familiar, however; she couldn’t put her finger on exactly who it was. Her eyes couldn’t leave her, to say that she didn’t look strange while staring at her was an understatement. Just as her face turned in her direction, she let out a quiet gasp yet very audible to Kevin. It was Veronica, and she was beyond pleased to see the only person who knew how to cheer her up--even if she did forget what she looked like for a split second. Her gaze moved to Jason and Polly, who acted as if they were madly in love, while her parents watched on lovingly. Betty felt like she was going to be sick and excused herself from the room. She couldn’t stand to be in the same room with her sister and her fiancé who was barely a good fit for her older sister. Now she was standing alone in one of the many corridors, fists clenched as her fingernails smoothly ran across her palm. Her motions stopped when she heard footsteps and she turned her head towards the noise. “Ronnie,” she breathed her friend’s nickname as she shuffled over to her, engulfing the smaller girl in a hug. “I shouldn’t have left so soon. I was too caught in my head, you didn’t have to come find me. But I’m...glad you’re here.”
