THREEISH MORE WEEKS!! (im not great at math)
hey guys! As yall know I havent been very active on my rp blogs! No worries! Im not losing interest or wanting to delete or anything!!
Amidst corona virus, my classes have turned to being online, however bc of that ive been giving a lot more work to make up for what i cant do in class now, im also managing finances (gotta make sure i can go back to college next semester) its left me very busy and more so focused on classwork a majority of days between more at home situations and I can't remember if i made a post about this already, but it doesnt hurt to make a more solid update on how its looking in which school should be out by april 23rd! I also want to thank all of you for the patience and understanding. It's been a very hectic semester and as much as I love rping I need go do what i can to keep up in classes especially as this year a couple of my teachers have a lot of assignments for us. I hope all of you are doing great and staying healthy and safe and cant wait to reply more consistently!!

Connors ears went back at the idea of going to a playroom. It felt out of place for him to be and despite being somewhere with many odd creatures, he felt very out of place being in a new and unfamiliar with the environment.
VM"What else is there to explore?" He asked.
It was dark and stormy, but Helio somewhat appreciated it, as it washed off the blood of the latest unhappy client. He noticed something yellow peeking out of the alleyway, and went to investigate. “Stars, what the hell are you?” -may the curtains never fall

Connor was tired. Tired, cold, and hungry. Living on his own would’ve been one thing, but living as…this? Everything was it’s own special version of hell. He had to eat every so many hours, anything outside of his dietary restriction would inevitably be vomited back up after what little forms of biofuel could be salvaged from it, and said options were very limited. This was his seventhth trash can that night because the other six either didn’t have enough options or someone chased him away with threats of bodily harm.
He’d just made his way into an alleyway when he heard footsteps and turned around to face a silhouette of someone he couldn’t quite make out but did hear. “That’s none of your buisness!” He spat following it up with a prerecorded hiss he obtained from a cat a couple days ago. Involuntarily, Connors fur fluffed up to make himself bigger, but it only worked so well when he had he was at best two feet tall (if he was being generous) and the rain and throughly flattened most of it.

Connor shivered hearing that and at the mere thought of such a thing. "So...since you're done with that, can you tell me more about Helio? Like where are his children if this place is as safe as claimed?" He asked.

Connor's ears went back as he stared at the screen. unable to make sense of it all. "What happens if its too...like that. Do you die?" He asked. "Can you die of an unhealthy soul?"

Connor couldn't help but try to lean in and look at her computer screen. "Unhealthy souls?...What are unhealthy souls like? How does a soul get unhealthy?" He asked, looking down at the rest of himself as if suddenly he expected his soul to become like that and see for himself.

As Zoey grabbed the orb, Connor's ears went back and he squeezed his eyes shut expecting some kind of feeling from it. A shock, a stinging sensation. Some kind of draw back to occur like when doctors might say a procedure wont hurt much, only it hurts a lot. He still couldn't help, but brace himself albeit out of fear.
When she said it was done, his eyes opened and he was visibly confused as he looked himself over, again expecting some kind of draw back or indication of the action being done. He even sniffed the air, expecting a smell to indicate such a thing as he looked at Zoey somewhere between skeptical and and confused.
"And...you promise that's it? Hoe doesn't it have any draw back?" He asked. To Connor everything felt like it must come at a cost and the concept of this not applying was hard to conceptualize.

Connor wasn't sure if that was the truth. He couldn't see any difference in expression as she told him this and nodded. He could probably break himself out if need be. That and this place was weird but that didn't mean it was inherently bad.

Connor looked at it uneasy. He didn't want to trust it, but she didnt say it hurt. "And whats that going to do?" He asked. Fingerprint scanners were for clearance. Connor knew that much, but he also knew they were for criminal records to keep bad people from leaving places.

Connor immediately tensed at the word swab. He couldn't look up the word anymore, but it certaintly didnt sound good to him. Was that the thing where they stick a sharp object in you? Or wss this where they take something out? "What-what's a swab?" He asked

Suddenly the connection seemed to click in Connors head and he nodded. He could purr, in fact, quite a few biocompinents of this body were cat parts. "It's the only explanation I can think of." He responded, keeping quite for a moment. "Is any of this bad?"

Connor shook his head, feeling the fish panickedly swimming away for a minute. This one didn't draw a single memory to mind. He had memories of coming across cats, but none that actually stood out. "I don't...i haven't had any that stick out." He said.

A fish? Connor had to think heavily before recalling his first hostage situation. "On my first case, a deviant android had destroyed a decently sized aquarium in his human's home. One of the fish had fallen onto the floor so I put it back." He replied. "That's the only memory I have."
