In Super Mario 64, a particularly brutal way for Mario to die is by being squished and burned at the same time, which occurs if he becomes trapped underneath these moving platforms in the Bowser in the Fire Sea course.

In Mario Kart 8/Deluxe, some course elements are shot high into the air when a racer using a Super Star drives through them. This animation assumes that the racer will continue driving, so that the object can safely land back in the same place.
However, if the racer is carefully positioned directly underneath the object, it can be kept bouncing up and down rapidly for as long as the Super Star remains active, as seen in the footage with a Moo Moo in Moo Moo Meadows.

In Super Mario 64 DS, there are microscopic, invisible gaps between many floor polygons. It is possible to slip between these cracks simply by falling with an extremely precise speed and position, with the process being termed "Quantum Tunneling".
The footage shows Yoshi using Quantum Tunneling to obtain the "Through the Jet Stream" star in Jolly Roger Bay. Near the beginning of the level, Yoshi quantum tunnels through the shore into the water out of bounds.
From there, he swims around the level and clips back into bounds underwater, which lets him move around underwater as though it was dry land as a result of an oversight. As he is unaffected by the strong current protecting the star in this state, he can simply grab it.
