Amber Gray Spent Years as a Broadway Goddess. In Eureka Day, She Gets to Tap Into Her Mom Side.
“It’s really interesting to just be realistic on stage,” she says like a wide-eyed visitor in a new land. “You always play the magical character,” a dresser of hers once told her. Carina, with her neat ponytail and sensible shoes, is not magical.

"Don't do anything too organised or I'll be out a job." Paige teased. She'd worked with people before that were far more disorganised than Valerie but at the same time a girl liked to feel useful so she didn't want Val to do too much without her. Currently they had a nice balance, or at least in Paige's mind they did.
"I'm not going anywhere okay, you don't have to worry. Now, what exactly at your plans today? Any updates?"
"I'm sure you'll be more than prepared enough if your checklists and ideas from the last couple of days have been anything to go by." Paige said with a small chuckle and a teasing smile. She had two coffees in her hand, knowing that caffeine would make today easier on both of them.
"Don't ruin your mood, remember that's why you've got me. Anything is forgotten and I should be able to get it."

Paige was, usually, a morning person. Most of the time that was quite a relief, she could help with the kids, get ready for work, help her partners, all without batting an eye. But at this time of a film's production she was already feeling frantic and that made her mornings a little more frazzled.
She was grateful that the other woman caught herself, Paige had been in a world of her own and hadn't noticed until too late. "You're alright, no harm done. I agree with that coffee though, very much needed. Are you coming in?"
location : coffee shop / bakery near set. open starter : uncapped.
waking up bright and early is something freya’s grown quite familiar with, ever since her acting career began many moons ago, and although she absolutely despises the early morning hours – finds next to nothing glamorous about being up before the sun herself has risen – she’s a very particular young woman and has made a routine of getting a coffee and chocolate croissant from her favorite coffee shop on her way to set. she’s humming a little tune, all the while scrolling through her phone, which is probably why she nearly crashes into another body as she’s nearing the coffee shop – she can almost smell the freshly roasted coffee beans as she catches her balance. ❝ oh, i’m so sorry ! ❞ startled, one hand over her erratically - beating heart, she reaches out to steady the other. ❝ this is what happens when i don’t have caffeine in my system. are you okay ? ❞

"Ugh do we really need another sequel? Surely there are plenty of people trying to make original films." Paige said with a huff as she sat herself down next to Raven, her hands cradling her own mug. "I get it's a good film but come on, another one?" She chuckled as Raven held her cup up. "Is that a hint for another?"
OPEN TO ALL! (2/6 cap)
LOCATION: Any Cafe and / or Bookshop
“Oh my gosh, did you hear? Apparently they’re gonna be making a Constantine sequel. With Keanu Reeves.” She dramatically slapped the back of het hand over her forehead, feigning an almost fainting impression. “The way I cannot wait for that. One of my favorite of dear Keanu’s John named roles.” Raven laughed. She sipped at her coffee, before she hummed. “But, that’s completely irrelevant to right now. How’s your day going? I heard we have late filming tonight, so that should warrant a few more of these—” She gingerly held up her cup. “Eh?”

valerie knew that today was going to be an early start and an extremely late film call time. her work bag was filled with everything that she needed throughout the day. she was someone who always came prepared and she very much was for today since she usually got ready the day before, so that way she wouldn't be running around in the mornings. " i think i've got everything, but if i forgot anything i can promise you.. it's going to ruin my entire mood for the whole day. "

"Nate, Jesus Christ has the person got their head still on or have you bitten it clean off?" Paige hadn't meant to overhear his conversation but when he seemed so irate it wasn't exactly easy to ignore. "If it makes you feel better Comic Sans is recognised as one of the best fonts for those with dyslexia. If it ain't fixed tomorrow just rebrand to say you're being inclusionary to all on the team."
She was only half serious, uncertain how he'd take that suggestion. But his turn around was remarkably quick and she relaxed into a smile. "Coffee sounds divine."

" - yeah, i know what you're asking. or insinuating, anyway - all i am asking is if it's possible you goddamn triple check the font tomorrow so i don't look like i teach fucking first grade when i hand out this call sheet. it's comic sans, stella! this is a profes-" is as far as he comes before the line is disconnected. again. funnily enough that, that signal error only ever seemed to happen on their line. for a moment nate considers simply moving aside and allow his mouth to shout out all curses and expletives that come to mind - maybe that'd wake him, at least. but he settles for muffling his frustrations into his fist and putting one of the on-set phones back on its loading dock. it's not the end of the world. it's just a font. hell, it's not even his fault!
for some reason, though, nate can't shake the feeling that, if some of the higher ups don't see this is some sort of genius joke, he'll get blamed for it. a heavy, drawn-out sigh is punched from his chest, and he allows himself another moment before he jumps back into action. it's too fucking early. but tomorrow will be too early, too. "hey!" nate calls out to the next person that passes by. "wanna join me at crafts? 'i don't drink coffee' is not an excuse, they've got tea there. come on."

"Me? Oh honey no, absolutely not. I am far, far behind the camera. It really ain't my thing to be out in front." Paige said, her eyes wide with a stunned sort of terror that someone had even thought she may be in front of a camera. "I'm one of the PAs. If you're looking for someone just to read I can do that though."
rory liked to make sure that she had gone over her lines a few times in her head for memorization. but she also didn't like to overpractice too much to where her acting would be planned out in her head. it wouldn't of came off as natural to the viewers and she was sure she would get that as a note from the director. it had happened a few times before. but since filming was set to start soon, she was curious to know who was working with her today. " you don't happen to be in the first scene that you're shooting with me, right? i thought maybe we could run lines together. see how we want for it to play out or something. "

Paige did not like being disturbed. At all. It was why she worked at cafes rather than at home, that way she wouldn't get snappy at her children or partners for their (usually well-meaning) intrusions. So having a colleague suddenly bustle their way onto her table and even worse, start talking to her? It was not how she wanted her day to go.
"You cannot be serious Miss De La Vega?" She said with a huff looking around to see what or who it was that the woman was hiding from. "Really? Can't deal with a couple of teenagers?"

despite being in the industry for almost half a decade, sofia still wasn't completely used to being recognized while she went about her day. being approached by teenage girls and asked to pose for selfies was an odd feeling; on one hand, sofia loved spending time with her fans and connecting with them as much as she could. but on the other, sometimes all she wanted was to be able to spend her days off walking around los angeles without worrying about anything. that's exactly why she ducked into the familiar coffee shop as soon as she spotted a group of young girls across the street, the sounds of their squealing drifting all the way to where the actress was. the establishment was already packed, but the staff there didn't seem to care about the constant stream of actors and directors that waltzed into the place. sofia was just another one of the regulars, and for that she was thankful. blue eyes scan the ambient in search of a vacant table, but every single one is occupied. she's about to give up on her feeble attempt to hide when she spots a familiar face, sitting at a table near the back like a godsend. " i am so sorry about this, " sofia announces as she slides into the vacant seat opposite the other, pulling out a book - a cheesy romance book she's been devouring on her downtime - from her purse and using it to cover her face as she slouches in her seat. dramatic, yes, but also effective. " i am not looking my best for an impromptu photo shoot with fourteen years olds, so i just need to hide real quick. i promise that your next coffee—or whatever you're drinking—is on me. "

Paige was honestly a little jealous of the place Che had managed to swing. It was fitting of a director at least but she'd been nosy and looking around had felt that familiar spring of desire for something more. She loved her home but with five of them in the one house they could do with somewhere a little more luxurious.
She'd stepped out for a similar reason to Che, the busy crowds were never her strongest suit. There was a reason she wasn't known for her public speaking.
"It's a gorgeous view, you're certainly a lucky man."
𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: che’s place, cast & crew dinner. 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿: uncapped.
the rental for the duration of filming was exactly what che had requested from the studio: spacious, homey, and perfect for hosting a dinner for the cast and crew - after all, the best way to get to know people was over gourmet food and a lot of alcohol. but after an hour of non-stop chatter, he needed a break - a minute of quiet before diving back into the whirlwind of his own creation.
he stepped outside onto the balcony, the chill of the evening air a stark contrast from the warmth of the gathering inside. the balcony overlooked a sprawling view of the very much alive city, building lights twinkling like a blanket of stars. he reached into the pocket of his jeans, pulling out a cigarette and flicking the lighter. as he took the first drag, he caught sight of someone from of the corner of his eye. he nodded in their direction, the barest flicker of a smile tugging at his lips. “view’s not too bad, huh?”

─ 🎬 ( AMBER GRAY, 37, CISWOMAN SHE/HER. ) Have you heard of PAIGE STALLWORTH yet? i believe they’ve been living in LA for 12 YEARS. they’re currently working as a PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO VALERIE SINCLAIR in the movie. somethings that remind me of them are: CHECKLISTS CAREFULLY TICKED OFF, A NEVERENDING HAND BAG, A LISTENING EAR AND TRUSTED HEART, SEEMINGLY PERFECT AND READY TO UNRAVEL, ALWAYS TRYING BUT NEVER REWARDED. before joining this project, i’ve heard they were known for being ADAPTABLE, ORGANISED, AND MATERNAL. however, on the down side, they’re also known to be STUBBORN, PROMISCUOUS, AND BLUNT. because of this, they’re often labeled as THE RELIABLE. i just hope they come to set prepared. especially since I’ve heard those call times are going to be pretty early!
— BASICS
Name: Paige Stallworth Age / D.O.B.: 37 / 17th of September 1987 Gender, Pronouns & Sexuality: Cis woman, She/her & bisexual polyamorous Hometown: Freetown, Sierra Leone Job position: Personal Assistant to Valerie Sinclair Education: High School level Relationship status: Longterm polyamorous triad Children: Nonbiological sons aged 4 and 1. Positive traits: Loving, organised, loyal, adaptable, maternal Negative traits: Promiscuous, cold, stubborn, sarcastic, secretive
— BIOGRAPHY
tw: slight bullying mention, adoption difficulties, infertility
1987 - Paige is born. Not much is known from her early years only that she was born in Freetown and left at an orphanage at only a few months old.
1994 - She is adopted by the American family of the Stallworth's. They moved her to Georgia where she met her elder sister and extended family for the first time.
1998 - Paige starts Middle School. It’s a big adjustment and she shrinks back in herself a little. Still having tints of her original accent she’s bullied. Nothing horrendous but enough that she feels shy and anxious. She wants to cling to her sister but the older sibling finds it embarrassing and this is the start of the gap between them growing.
2005 - She graduates high school and the tensions between her and her sister are high. Paige’s grades were not what she wanted them to be and she becomes the first in generations not to go onto higher education. She gets a rubbish little job at a cafe and a bedsit
2013 - With little else but a dream and some savings Paige takes a chance and moves out all the way to Los Angeles She loved writing and had dreams of becoming a script writer. She quickly realises it's going to be very difficult and starts taking PA jobs to help supplement an income of freelance writing.
2016 - Paige meets Aikira. They start off as friends but it soon develops into something more.
2018 - Paige meets Philip whilst out with Aikira. There’s an instant connection between the three of them. Paige had been in polyamorous relationships but not with all three dating each other. It took a lot of deep conversations and clear boundaries but the three of them have been in a committed relationship since then.
2020 - The partnership's first child is a complete surprise and Paige finds herself on the outside of the experience. She tells herself she doesn’t mind that and truly as soon as she feels the baby kick for the first time she is smitten. Motherhood is something she didn’t know she wanted and she is besotted by her children.
possible fertility issues tw
2022 - When their eldest turned 2 the family decided to try for another child. Initially the plan was that Paige would carry the baby. However, after routine tests she was told it would be difficult for her to concieve. Not impossible, but difficult. The news broke Paige’s heart as much as she tried to hide it. The three of them decided to take a more casual approach agreeing that if something was to happen then itwould be a blessing but they didn’t want to put pressure on it.
2023 - Her partner, very worriedly, told Paige they were pregnant again. Paige was delighted to be a mother again but she has hidden a lot of her upset that she’s not been able to have that side of the experience yet. She’s tried not to let her partners see this and obviously adores her second son just as much as the first.
Now - Paige is happy (mostly) in her life. She works hard at her job, finds the organisation soothing in a way. Still writes on the side but she doesn't have much confidence in her own work. Cheeky, excitable once you know her she can initially come across as aloof or cold.
— WANTED CONNECTIONS / PLOTS
Taken by @28recsons (Philip) and @brokenbeauties (Aikira) Her partners - Paige and these two others have been in a relationship for the last 7 years (at least). They have two young sons together and are deeply loving and supportive of each other.
Her adoptive sister - They have an estranged and competitive relationship. UTP if your muse is the biological child of the Stallworths or also adopted.
