Well apparently I don't get to answer Tumblr Asks with video, so you don't get to hear me growling "all of these, all of these" while viewing the Hakuboo page.

Since I am forced to answer seriously, it's Kija. I have such a weak spot for pure-hearted, hot-headed devotion, especially when it comes mixed with a strong dash of obliviousness. 

I have long since loved pretty boys of Kija's variety, but as for what makes Kija special, it's really how he can go from loving (or hating) fictional character versions of people in his head to full throttle accepting someone for all that they are.

Hey there, hiiii~~ ^.^  2020 hasn’t really been an active year for me, but there is lots and lots of lots of older activity in the archive which I hope you’ll enjoy!

So, Kija was having weird dreams about Yona right? What about the rest of the dragons?

I assume this is in reference to the scene when Hak was peeking at Yona in the tent and Kija yelled at him, right? XD

I haven’t actually come up with any content or headcanons about interesting dreams, but... --If Shin-ah’s not having general Seiryuu-induced nightmares, he probably has nice dreams about Pukkyuu and Yona. 

--Zeno probably doesn’t dream much, but when he does, it’s about stuff in the distant past. 

--Jaeha probably has the weirdest, most non-nonsensical dreams, with everybody making appearances that are very out-of-character for them.

Do you think that in Yona of the dawn the dragons should have a love interest like Kija and Jaeha in order to move away from their romantic feelings for Yona and please why or why not.

First off, from a purely fangirl perspective, I’m not a big shipper and therefore am not pining for them to get together with anybody. In fact, I don’t see anything that makes me wish to see it in canon because it would be odd to take a romantic spin this late in the series. That being said, I like to contemplate interesting ships here and there which are brought up in the fandom, and I did write a whole fanfic about Tao’s maid who Kija saved and did sort of wish for them to be a thing someday in the far, far future. XD  Even setting aside my appetite or lack thereof for shipping, I don’t think it’s necessary. Ultimately, their dragon blood and the feelings it stirs in them is the bigger challenge they have to overcome, and seeing if it can be replaced wouldn’t be solved without another Hiryuu in play (which adds a level of interest to their interactions with Soowon, but there’s not such a big pull there). 

Plus, sometimes characters just have to accept not being the main love interest to their object of affection, and it’s good for everyone when they grow to accept that, whether they have someone new to have affection for or not. Jaeha is especially the one who needs to come to peace with this, beyond just what his dragon blood tells him. The tension is in the inner battle! : D

But do I always want them to have a special bond with Yona, even now that HakYona is officially canon? HECK YES. Give me that special Yona and Shin-ah bond especially! T^T

If you are still into akatsuki no Yona, then what are your thoughts on hiryuu's five children. I'm still trying to get my head around that...

I’m still in, just not as fervently as before. ^^; As for the five children, I was initially shocked about two years ago when I looked back at the text of Zeno saying he’s going to stick around the castle and released that it referred to more than one prince, just not just Yakshi, so I had a big celebration freak out back then. XD

As for five children, that’s cool, I guess? I am not phased into thinking this is a large number, by any means. In fact, as a head of state, this is hardly surprising at all! Zeno did refer to only the empress and not any other wives, though, so she was a sturdy lady. 

*coughs* Somebody had to be, if Hiryuu was gonna catch the Hiryuu disease.

Hiya! So, strange thought: Hak's name kinda sounds like "hawk" and Soo-won's name kinda sounds like "swan." What about an AkaYona Bird!AU? (Now that I'm thinking about it, what kind of bird would Zeno be?) Thank you so much for all the beautiful, fluffy, angsty art in AnY and KnY!!!

To be honest, I tried thinking of satisfying answers to this and what the parameters would be be, but thinking too hard wasn’t leading to anything interesting. So I looked at a list of birds and came across red-footed boobies and something said “Taejun should pose with a few of those” and here we are.
