The world is getting a bit stressful. How are you dealing with the stress? Are you watching the MSM or You Tube? I know I know there’s people out there that prefer to live in a bubble, but what of those of you that live in the now? How are you managing? I know there’s not a thing we can do about the possible threat of nuclear war, but what’s your thoughts?

Our garden is winding down. We had to pull up most of the plants and vines due to the cold here. What can I do with these peppers? I’ve already canned twelve jars but hoped someone had a recipe of another idea. TIA

Freeze dried food is exploding on the market. Praised for its taste and versatility because it has a shelf life of 25 years. It’s easy to sell to people and is a good money maker. With world events being what they are it’s time to get stocked up. Send the word Thrive to me if you’re interested and we can chat.

I highly recommend spending quality time with your family right now. Take drive to the mountains. Some areas have snow now. Go to the movies preferably the drive in. Take pillows, blankets and homemade popcorn. Go play miniature golf. Some locations have glow in the dark golf. Spend an evening over a nice dinner. Cook a dish you haven’t done in awhile.
Moral: spend quality time because you don’t know when you won’t have that option.

Thank you
Ok, not my usual post.
My friend Tina (FarmGirlInMiddleOfNowhere) who use to be on here and I was talking about things that have been going on in the world today.
Due to the uncertainty in the world, she asked if I would post something that she use to post a couple times a year for the ladies on Tumblr. I had to look up a different site than she used, since the one she use to post is no longer online. So here it is.
How to make homemade feminine pads.
Tina asked me to pass on:
Please share with others. This can be a way to save money, to have emergency back-up until you can get back to the store or to have on hand if everything hits the fan and stores are closed for a long time. Or just copy/download the pattern and instructions and put them with the rest of your patterns for later.
