Rosalind: *very seriously* You need to stop doing weird things to cope with the stress. Going outside might help.  Batty: I went to the park today.  Rosalind: There you go! I hope you got something from that.  Batty: *opening their coat* This duck.

Jane stays up all night writing fan fiction for her many different fandoms fs

Batty: I’m sad.  Ben: Don’t be sad, because sad backwards is das.  Ben: And das not good.

Skye: I swear to god I'm the only one here with a brain cell.  Ben, Rosalind, Jeffery, and Jane: ALL HAIL the keeper of the sacred brain cell!

Having another one of those urges to rewrite the entire final book in a series that I started reading at the appropriate age but that destroyed my life as an adult because it ended WRONG and I am BITTER about it and there is a part of me that will never rest until things are set RIGHT.

No, I do not care that it's a middle grade series.

the superbowl is HUGE on gardam street because the geigers throw a huge party.

rosalind always bakes for the party and organizes all the food

skye is pretty into the game along with nick and tommy

jane is just there for the superbowl ads

batty and ben are just annoying, asking for everyone's attention while they try and watch the game

tommy and rosalind are an UNDERRATED ship

nothing beats being into something with a really small fandom because you'll get like 7 notes on a post and it's like WOAHHH THE GANG'S ALL HERE ‼️‼️

i still think about how anna told rosalind that peoples hands say a lot about them.

You know how in the past sometimes artists, philosophers, storytellers, etc. would find a rich patron to support them so they could do their work? I'm thinking about how after Jane stayed at the Arundel carriage house and talked about liking it Jeffrey got to thinking and he thought: Hey. I have more money than I know what to do with and Jane works a waitressing job and would probably love writing full-time.

So he decides to give his honorary sister a lift up and offers to become her patron. Jane would love the poetic-ness of it, but I can't decide whether she'd take it. She might want to be self-sustaining, but the chance to do nothing but write as a job? That'd be hard to resist.
