I know a fair amount of people think that if Finnick had lived, he would’ve been deeply involved in the rebuild efforts, in politics, in his community, but I beg to differ…once he recovered from his injuries, which would’ve taken months, he would most likely have had to testify at the trial of some of his traffickers. both those things are so emotionally destructive, and he’s been scrutinized so heavily for so long. I think after all that, he would become a massive introvert. maybe even a borderline recluse. he’d finally get the privacy he’s always wanted and deserved. he’d get to rest.
