You know, this rant isn’t even limited to EXOtics anymore, this rant is to every KPOP fan who doesn’t know boundaries.

Stop it. You’re not cute. Oppa is not going to fall in love with you because you pushed your kawaii cellphone cased iPhone 5 in his face to make a picture.

This is not an issue about nationality or fandom, this is something that applies to every single one of us: Stop acting like you’re in the jungle when your idol is around. Men has self proclaimed its separation from the animal species because we have norms and values, but the moment you drop those, you loose a bit of your humanity.

In 2006 an anti-fan spiked Yunho’s drink with super glue, Suju has mentioned they came home to fans in their dorm, in 2010 Jonghyun and Key got injured in Jakarta because of fans running them over, for over the last year, Luhan has been pushed down almost every single time he enters the airport because people don’t know how to respect someone’s privacy and personal space.

This is not a one time thing, this is an ongoing issue that has been going on for far, far too long. I’m sick of it, the fandom is sick of it and the idols are sick of it.

I looked at Baekhyun today and I think that for the first time ever, I saw him completely drop his idol mask. That boy smiled through being pushed against Luhan, nearly tumbling to the ground and through big ass camera’s being pushed into his face but he couldn’t even muster a a pokerface at his younger bandmate clinging to him because he’s in pain.

I think that, regardless the fact that we’re an international fandom, we need to stand strong against this, because there are no excuses for this behavior. Not even these two:

They choose to be an idol - I doubt their job description includes being given spy cams and teenage girls shoving them literally to the ground.

Everyone looses his mind around their idol, it’s the rush of the moment - Fuck you, no it’s not. I stood right next to SHINee and I managed to keep my tits calm, it’s called self control.

It’s insane it had to come this far. It’s not the first time someone got physically injured because of fans but if we stand together, we can maybe—just maybe, make it the last. The fans are the problem. Let the fans be the solution as well.
