Different Styles of Abstract Art Paintings
Tumblr media
The word "abstract art" is a relatively broad catch-all term for any painting or sculpture that does not depict recognised objects or scenes. It is sometimes referred to as "non-objective art," "non-figurative," "non-representational," "geometric abstraction," or "concrete art."
Abstract Expressionism
A new style of modern art that evolved in the middle of the 20th century, primarily in the US, is known as abstract expressionism. The abstracted forms, like its predecessor "Expressionism," from the 19th century, are indicative of the artist's thoughts or emotions.
2. Action Painting
Action painting and Abstract Expressionism are closely related; some see it as a subgenre of the greater "AbEx" movement. The word is frequently used to describe works that are produced by dripping, pouring, or splashing paint straight onto the surface, starting with the well-known Jackson Pollock canvases that have paint splatter all over them.
3. Color Field Painting
Color Field Painting is frequently regarded as belonging to the larger category of Abstract Expressionism, much like Action Painting does. Large expanses of solitary, flat hues are what give color field paints their name. The choice of colors is crucial since they can either have a cheerful or gloomy effect.
4. Informalism
The art movement of Informalism, also referred to as "Art Informel," emerged in the 1940s and 1950s. Informalism, like other post-war trends, eschewed geometric abstraction in favor of—you guessed it—something more casual and intuitive. Studies of Art Informel frequently include topics like Lyrical Abstraction, Matter Painting, and Tachisme.
5. Cubism
The history of Modern and Abstract art has been forever changed by Cubism. Instead than the other way around, abstract art is seen as a development of cubism. Many styles, including Constructivism, Futurism, and Suprematism, were influenced by Cubism. In fact, Cubism remains influential to this day, as these prominent cubist forms are evident on anything from digital art to sculpture.

Madhubani Painting - An Ancient Folk Art of India
Tumblr media
Madhubani, an area that includes parts of North Bihar and the Mithila region of Nepal, is named after a forest of honey. It is also known for its folk art. One of the rarest forms of art in existence is one that women have developed, preserved, and practiced.
On the occasion of his daughter's wedding, Mithila's ruler, Raja Janak, reportedly asked local artisans to paint the palace walls. Some people thought he asked a painter to depict the wedding ceremony in a picture.
Around 1934, this ancient art style began to gain international recognition. That year, there was an earthquake in North Bihar, and the Mithila region saw extensive damage. During his investigation, a British officer named William G. Archer discovered that the paintings by Mithila were extremely similar to those by Picasso and Miro. In addition to including images, he wrote about it in an art magazine. This is how the courtyard painting began to take off. This is how the outside world first learned about it.
Usually, on exceptional occasions, the women paint, primarily on walls and floors. Painting is done with fingers, twigs, matchsticks, and tiny bamboo sticks. The unique quality is that the artisans enhanced their artwork with natural hues.
One additional occurrence led to the painting becoming a commodity. It was a dry period from 1966 to 1968. A new source of income was established when the All India Handicrafts Board encouraged Mithila women to create paintings on paper.
Madhubani thus earned the attention it deserved. In 1969, Sita Devi received a state and national award, and in 1975, another artist, Jagdamba Devi, was awarded the Padma Shri.

How to Transform Your Home Into A Bold Space With Contemporary Art Paintings?
Tumblr media
Contemporary Art is much more than just a piece of furniture. It is how interior designers and architects create environments that showcase their sense of aesthetics. There is a lot of potential in contemporary painting, sculpture, visual art, and printmaking. They complete the rooms and arrange them, giving the house a focal point and stylistic coherence.
But if you want to use contemporary paintings to give your decor a little more charm, you must give careful thought to how to hang them.
We've put together some straightforward advice to help you hang your valued contemporary art paintings up and enjoy them.
Think about the dimensions of your wall
Remember that larger walls require larger pieces of art or a taller and wider grouping of smaller paintings. On the other hand, thinner walls demand for long pieces of art or perhaps shorter pieces layered vertically and cohesively. In order to hang your contemporary artworks properly, take into account the size of the wall space that is available in your home.
Try pairing contemporary items with your wall colour and theme as well, as they are frequently infused with colours and textures, which will help them blend in with the surroundings and enhance the overall appearance of the room.
Take your furniture's size into account
If you plan to hang one of your favourite contemporary art works over a piece of furniture, be sure the artwork's width does not surpass the furniture's width. The piece of art should actually be 4-6 inches above the couch or console and should be 3/4 to 4/5 the width of your furniture.
Consider symmetry
If you possess a collection of contemporary paintings, you can hang your works of art in a configuration that supports the main function of your room. A balanced display arrangement can add a relaxing element to a formal, balanced environment like a living room. You might explore hanging your pieces asymmetrically in your game rooms, lounge, etc. Because often asymmetry also works well to get a clean look in more informal and enjoyable settings.
Execute based on lines
Do not forget that you can hang contemporary art in both vertical and horizontal planes of sight. Using these lines in the right way might help you achieve the mood and vibe you want in a specific location.
Contemporary art hung vertically provides a room with more height, makes it more formal, and adds a touch of sophistication and elegance. Contemporary art hung horizontally gives a room more breadth, lengthens the walls, and gives it a more relaxed appearance.
End Point
You may put up the ideal display of your favourite modern paintings with the appropriate information. Make use of our suggestions and tactics to turn each room in your house into a unique, immersive gallery!

Creative Ways to Display Your Art
Tumblr media
Since artwork is such an important part of interior design, many spaces do not feel complete until it is displayed on the walls. Take a moment to ponder, though, because the manner you show your collection can often make just as strong a statement as the individual pieces. Do you need some ideas? Here are some of my personal favourites for exhibiting eye-catching pictures and artwork.
Gallery walls are popular right now and are a classic, historical way to display artwork. Though there are numerous ideas and methods available to assist you in creating one, we believe the most key point to remember is that the collection should appear to have evolved over time.
When it comes to art placement, a modern tactic is to ignore "the rules'' and just go for it. Typically, we are encouraged to consider furniture placement and mouldings placement. Hanging art off-centre or  above mouldings  may bring a lot of interest to a space.
Leaning pieces of art look great whether they are put on the floor, on top of a cabinet, or casually on a bookshelf. This method also appears more relaxed and fluid than standard hanging, as though your items are in constant rotation.
If you have a few little framed photos scattered over your house, you might choose to group them in displays with similar themes. One way to create a design moment that feels deliberate and planned is to group many old family photos together on a table or console.
Blow up a wonderful horizontally oriented photograph or print, cut it into thirds, then arrange the pieces in three matching frames. As a consequence, you get a bold tripartite with relevant subject matter. While you could place this decor anywhere in your home, I think it looks best in a private space like a master bedroom.
End Point
Whether you've invested in original paintings or limited edition prints, you'll want to make sure they're presented in a lovely way inside your house. Even in and of itself, displaying art is an art. Some objects are worthy of more than just being hung on the wall or set above the hearth.

How to Shop Art for the Entryway?
Tumblr media
If you've ever decorated your home you'll agree with us that we spent a lot of time and work on our living room and bedroom but forget to consider the entryway. We frequently ignore the doorway, despite the fact that it is the first space a visitor will view upon entering a home. We usually fail to see the potential of this tiny space, which has the ability to act as a magic eye that can reveal what is to come while still being visually attractive. We'll provide some helpful advice on how to purchase artwork for the entryway to enhance the aesthetic of your home.
Here is a list of few artworks you can shop to elevate the appearance of  the entryway of your home.
Photo Walls
A highly popular style of entryway decor involves experimenting with various images to create a joyful mood or just a look that is both cost and artistic. For a symmetrical arrangement, use canvas prints of the same size. For a more surprising result, choose images of various sizes.
Another suggestion for adorning the walls of the Entryway with decorations that are truly important is to combine artistic images with family portraits.
Sculpture
Depending on the size of your entryway and the existing furnishings, an abstract or classical sculpture can really tie the room together. There are several options, ranging from sculptures made of wood to glass, and clay.
Use Mirror Magic
All entryways need a mirror. Add a stylish decorative mirror for quick touch-ups on your hair or makeup before leaving the house or for the occasional selfie.
Feature a Work of Art
To add tones and textures to the room, hang a neutral piece of art above the console. Don't be constrained by how creative you may be when decorating a small space like the entryway. Make a statement by utilising every available space. By placing one or two statement stools or sculptures underneath the console, you can make use of the available space.
Use Decors to Emphasise It
Choose exciting décor items like a tree candle holder, which may serve as both a decorative piece and décor if you have a room that feels empty.
End Point
Make a statement with your doorway the next time you want to revamp the entryway of your house. There are so many choices that should be explored. With brown paper crafts, you can now market and purchase lovely artwork that elevates the entrance. Contact us to find out more.
