A moodboard of mono (bc it’s a whole masterpiece), that no one asked for, but I still felt the need to make

1.       tokyo

riding a train alone, its closer to the next day than it is to the present. You try to stop nodding asleep as landscapes blend together around you. Rain pours around you in a deafening silence, you lay awake in your bed, hand outstretched beside you. Your own whistle carrying more weight in the empty house than your own torso.

2.       seoul

there’s jazz floating in the air, the sun is streaming onto your face in washes of golden. A walk in a garden. Everything is familiar and though you despise the bland nature it has become, you endure its comfort in the crevice of your heart. There’s a soft glow to everyday, one that your eyes slowly grow accustomed to with the heavy smoke that grows in the city that’s never silent. The city breathes, and you feel it coursing in your veins, in whispers of love and hate, you never leave.

3.       moonchild

there’s a soft innocence to the glassy tears in your eyes as you smile at fading polaroids. Broken memories of lost people. The pain grows until you can’t remember yourself before it.  But as you bathe in the dull glow of the moon, the ethereal beauty strips the darkness. You live as beacon to your own thoughts, knowing only you can both destroy and create yourself. You are Artemis of the moon, and your body formed under Luna, so when your tears melt into your skin, remember you are a museum of mystery…its your time.

 4.       badbye

Standing under ice water to feel something, nothing, anything to stop the numbness that has taken your body hostage. The broken clock’s hands move in the same mechanical strikes that you have grown accustomed to. Rewind videos. Rewind tapes. Rewind playlists. Rewind life until you are stuck in memories that vomit you out at the crack of dawn. Words that felt so sweet, so… so soft now are ridden with venom that burns when you try to touch it. But burning is better than nothing.

5.       uhgood

ink bleeding into pages as you try to create yourself into words, though you are so much more than sentences strung into poetic verses. Prove yourself the world says, and you try to catch the image of reality you were promised, only to realise you’ve been chasing wind. And once you have become the slave you will realise, you were always enough. All you ever needed was yourself. Your ideal self does not exist in a parallel universe but, is the hollow face staring back at you in the mirror. Your heart was built big enough to fit you, only you, remember that when the ache of isolation returns.

6.       everythingoes

Time is a construct that humans created to falsify a sense of security that exists to rob you of existence. You are growing, and when everything appears to be standing still, you must remember it passes, you pass. A violin sings sweet songs in the background, as rain kisses your skin. And when the rain stops, you will smell the fresh dirt, the humidity that smears your face in constant movement. There is no standstill, you exist as a being of motion, atoms buzzing, neutrons moving into thoughts of silent genius. You exist as a collected network in a world full of change, and you exist as a change in all forms of present, past, and future.

 7.       Forever rain

The rain that becomes my shadow, I long for your comforting voice. I build myself a sand castle, as the tide gets closer, and when it erodes at my foundation it takes away any proof of my existence. When screams tear at my throat, the storm mutes me, into the isolation that I have come to love.  I exist in a standstill, not moving, not breathing, not living. I am in a world of constant rain, and when the rain ends, I wear the umbrella as a shield. Because it never ends.

So, @andrxnmeda asked me if I could teach her how to do this kind of doodle gifs and I decided to do a mini tutorial, since it may be of use to some other people!

This is my first tutorial and I suck at explaining things, but it’s easier than it looks, so hopefully you’ll get it!

IMPORTANT: you need to have a photoshop version with timeline. Sometimes the timeline is just deactivaed, so go to “Window” and select “Animation.”
