You know what gets me? And kills me just realizing it?

It’s Jack who asks first. Always.

Jack was the one to ask Joke to be his boyfriend. And Jack was the one to ask Joke to marry him.

And why it gets me?

Because, it’s so Jack of him to take everything by the hand. When Ama said Jack loves with all his might, she wasn’t joking.

But this is also shows between the two of them Joke wouldn’t dare do it first. Because, he’s still the person who is afraid of rejection. Sure, he was steadfast in asking for forgiveness, because he was in the wrong. But when it comes to seeking things for himself, like love, Joke’s always been wary. Since he never did always have a positive outcome.

So yes, it’s just right that Jack was the one to propose. And this also proves to Joke, that someone wants him. That someone he loves, loves him back.

I don't know what else I expected from an episode with Brennan Lee Mulligan

of course brennan’s vip ep was an art house film about the metaphor of the self through the lens of false dream logic and time loops delivered by a wild man from the woods who is also a physicist from Newfoundland who carries around rocks in a briefcase that he has to hatch and doesn’t know the word alligator but does know the words centrifugal force and is afraid of bowls. of course.

So, let me get this straight. Brennan Lee Mulligan walked on that Very Important People set and screamed, spilled coffee and chips all over himself, threw rocks all over the set, delivered about ten monolgues, gave Vic Michaelis some well needed therapy, practically beat up Sam Reich, and gave everyone an existential crisis. All in about 30 minutes. And that whole thing was improvised??

Yeah, pretty standard Brennan Lee Mulligan behavior, honestly.

That moment in the finale where Gorgug finds his way into Kristen’s forest while they are in Ankarna’s domain and just  

Gorgug was in a forest the first time he died. It was scary, a leaf cut him, he talked about it a lot for a while, it stuck with him, it wasn’t at all comforting. 

Three years later he finds Kristen in her peaceful woods. 

“Remember when we died?”

Do you guys ever think about the fact that Beardsley was a last minute addition to the cast after Rekha turned it down? They weren’t even supposed to be in this show.

Think about how different this show would be without them, without their constant finale nat 20s. How many years has that decision shaved off of Brennan’s life do you think?
