Frostonya. A collection of clothes about home inspired by 1930s apartment building in ktown. All proceeds donated to non profits feeding the homeless.

A few of my favorite spreads from Frostonya. First one is my black eye from a box falling onto it. Second one is from the first night I moved in and the blurry lights from Virgil through my window screen. Third one is a drawing of my lobby floor and a reflection of moving light.

Hello, under these conditions I’ve revisited this platform, hope everyone is safe during this time. This is a dream I had sometime last summer but also promotional video for these new tee shirts I handprinted for Bad Year. This one was inspired by a homunculus, which is a diagram created by neurosurgeon Wilder Penfield. A diagram depicting a small humanoid figure that’s built in proportion to the sensitivity of the body. I learned about this in a psychology of seeing class I took and was obsessed with image of the homunculus. I had a dream that my body was one..The brain makes no sense even when researched about how it works. I looked at a video of the Montreal procedure which is open head surgery to pinpoint what parts of the brain control what. The procedure was mainly used to cure epilepsy which causes seizures. During this, Penfield would do tests by poking at different parts of the brain and see what stimulates what, and when something doesn’t match that’s where he knew the wiring of the brain is messed up. That’s the part I don’t so much understand. I read somewhere that during a procedure a patient stimulated a memory reciting “it is late at night, around the carnival somewhere some sort of traveling circus” It wasn’t a memory but as if he relived this exact experience at some carnival once again. This doesn’t make sense but was a journey of understanding how it works up there. Take care of ya head. Be safe.
