“I get it. My dad would have like freaked if I asked for an animal. I’m genuinely surprised he was like able to keep my siblings and I like barely alive,” Margot pointed out with a self-sufficient nod. “Potentially. Awe! Now I really wanna get a pet. I mean, I like totally should, right? It’s gonna like get so lonely in my apartment.”

“oh my gosh - that sounds eventful,” briar giggled softly, pushing her hair out of her face, “you should! they’re so much fun, and they totally make things a little less lonely.”

They just vibe and like do their own cute little thing and if you get a self-cleaning litter box? You’re like set for life,” she said, waving her hands around. “I mean, like don’t get me wrong they are still little shits but still like supes manageable.”

“oh, no. that’s just - my mom. nothing new.” briar shrugged with a soft giggle, “they are pretty easy, i can’t lie. both of mine are angels too, so maybe that’s what’s making it easier for her.”

Margot nodded excitedly with a bright smile on her face. “Oh my gosh, yes! Those are like, the cutest vids ever!” She gushed. “I mean, I just like love a cute family moment, but it’s super cute your mom is like so into your cats. It’s like such a tender moment. Baffles me that she wouldn’t like cats though. One time I had a Persian cat that was just to die for and I just could not imagine not loving cats. They’re just the precious-est!”

“right! i love them so much! - it’s cute, but it’s also so weird. she wouldn’t talk to me for a week when i got my first one, and now she just - adores them. she’s just a very particular person, never really liked animals, always thought they were too messy n’ stuff. they really are so adorable! i’m obsessed with them.”
