Night Elf vs Dragonborn | Maya & Unreal Engine 5 Animation
Hey everyone! I’m thrilled to unveil my latest 3D animation—a high-stakes showdown set in a lush fantasy forest. This epic battle features a World of Warcraft-style Night Elf, armed with a glowing magical spear, facing off against a fearsome Dragonborn antagonist wielding a massive greatsword.
This video highlights my work in animation, layout, lighting, FX, and compositing, all created using Autodesk Maya 2023 and Unreal Engine 5. The character models were designed by Kiel Figgins.

World of Warcraft: Night Elf Idle Animation - Unreal Engine 5 After finding a cool character rig online by Kiel Figgins that was in a similar style to WoW's models I wanted to start creating some fan animations centered around more game focused content. Starting with a simple idle animation based on the World of Warcraft Night Elves. Using Autodesk Maya for the animation and Unreal Engine 5 for the background, particle effects and post processing/rendering. I really enjoyed experimenting with Unreal Engine's game design-centric features like the Niagra system for particle effects and I cant wait to practice more complex animations and scenes within the realm of game design animation in Maya and Unreal 5!

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Fan Animation - Maya & Unreal Engine 5
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on diversifying my animation practice, so I decided to dive back into 3D animation using Maya and Unreal Engine 5! I wanted to see if I could make something similar to my 2D Wind Waker animation but in Maya and Unreal using the popular Link rig.
Animation was primarily done in Autodesk Maya then ported over into Unreal Engine 5 where I added in a background, lighting and particle effects!

Luffy Gear 5 - One Piece Fan Animation After seeing the incredible work that was put into animating Luffy's transformation into the Fifth Gear I was inspired to try something totally new. I decided to do a fan animation of Monkey D. Luffy in his Gear Five form in as similar of a style as I could get to the source material. The animation is fully hand drawn and done inside Clip Studio Paint! I didn't animate from a specific panel or chapter, more so I wanted to show how I envisioned Luffy to move around in his new cartoony form. It was a chance to do a fun action scene showcasing just how goofy and epic this form can be with a background setting that was inspired by Kaido's floating island. It was a ton of work but I really enjoyed it and hope to do more things like this in the near future!

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Fan Animation Short fan animation for Wind Waker showing off a run cycle with a jump and sword swing at the end. I wanted to try and emulate the style of the games concept art and I think I was able to capture that. Traditionally animated in Adobe Animate, everything was done by me including the background which was done in Photoshop/Animate as well. I'm really happy with how this turned out, it was super fun and I'm excited to share more art and animation content with you guys in the near future! 🍈

Got back into World of Warcraft recently and it inspired me to create this Night Elf pinup piece using what I've learned about cel shading and digital painting within Clip Studio Paint. Cel shaded character with a photobashed and textured background with some repainting like with the foliage, pillars, water etc. Had a lot of fun with this one, cant wait to do more!
