what kind of dog do you have and how long have you had them

I have a Yorkie-mix and I’ve had her for 12 years.  Over the past week she’s had two health-related issues come to the forefront, first was an arthritic left-hind leg which got so bad she could only stand on her front two-legs because the right-hind leg was swollen from how much pressure she was putting on it.  She was refusing to take her medicine despite me being as clever as can be in disguising the capsule in her food.  When I took her to the vet to get the leg re-checked, I discovered she was suffering from early-stages of Pancreatus, a disease which can kill older dogs.  Fortuitously, it was caught early and she spent 3 days being fed IV fluids from the vet.  Her leg is....her leg not much can be done besides just giving her medicine.  I know one day she’ll pass as she’s getting up there in years, but I’m not ready to let her go yet and she is feeling better now.

Brain was too covered in cobwebs to muster out any anger towards the singer for ruining his nap.  Of course, save for murder or recording an unoriginal Christmas toon solely designed to ciphen money from holiday spirit, there was nothing she could do which would cause him to raise that voice.  At least that’s what his HEART tried to testify.

He stretched his limbs on the rotten couch and yawned gapingly.  Eyes blinking, trying their DAMNEST to adjust to the newly-discovered brightness.  Her voluptuous figure was hazy at this point, such a shame. 

❝ I was trying to get my beauty sleep, at least as much beauty as I can get without having SURGERY.  Got two concerts to play in as many days.  I’ll probably be a fucking ZOMBIE by the last song.  And before you ask, no I don’t plan on immediately storming off the stage.  So…..what are your plans for the…now?❞

Just an FYI as to why I’ve been absent over the past few weeks.  A deal for my first home fell through and subsequently, I’m out $1,000, humiliated myself, my family and many of my (also my family’s) plans for the next few months are dashed.  Along with the failing health of a family pet, I can’t quite muster up the muse to RP.  Hopefully, I’ll get it back to writing soon, but I feel as though it’s only fair I give you guys an update.

Well - Anna didn’t intend to get too personal. Some things were best kept private, but details about where she was from wasn’t a bad deal to her. ❝Born and raised on Tatooine,❞ she grinned proudly. Most people would not be proud of coming from such a sandy, awful planet, but she happened to like where she came from. It helped to mold her into who she was today.

Shrug, derisive eye-roll, the usual. IRONY was syrupy thick for Cade’s famous ancestors were born and raised on Tatooine as well.  Skywalker was aware, but he did not look at Anakin and Luke through favorable tinted eyewear.   He continued to jam his hands underneath his pits, keeping silent out of PROTEST.  After several seconds, Cade took a deep breath and in a resigned tone shared a nugget about himself.

The cantankerous outlaw rolled his acerbity down the halls of the ship like a bowler would a ball, apathetic as to whether he hit the pins or not.  In fairness, TRUST was a currency Cade had always been depleted of, even before he lost his father on the fields of Ossus.   Save for a miracle bestowed by the Force,  he’d NEVER be convinced to invest in trust, no matter who pleaded with him.  He pivoted himself on his seat so that instead of his back facing her, it was his worn visage.

Her arms folded over her ample chest, the playful smirk she wore never disappeared as she draped one leg over the other. Rotten to her core with intentions that favored her, she sauntered in her seat tugging upon the red fabric of her tight dress. She knew best how to tease, the sugary smile dripping with venom as she cooed.

A smirk and a wink were the Rozenkrantz and Guildenstern meant to provide levity in the human tragedy known as Cade Skywalker.  Of course, his sweltering braggadocio cooled as Alex worked her charms.   Would it surprise anyone that the thoughts which careened inside his brain were UNPURE?  He pondered his options, acquiesce and possibly get laid or follow his principles.  The smirk shrunk into a screwing of the lips.  A noncommital hum followed as Cade eyed the singer up and down and up and down again.
